Given, it was after adventuring for 100-odd years and killing every megabeast on the planet, but eventually I died of old age while going to a village to retire.Your character should have an entire song written about him, I don't even think humans live that long in DF, especially since anything in DF causes life spans to suddenly go down to ~2/3 years.
Back on topic, I've never heard of this, I should look into this and try it myself
