While I know the game is about a cataclysm world ending in nature, would it be possible to eventually have a generated history a la DF or something that would determine the possibility of there being more survivors with different quality of survivors ie random hobo, government forces etc? Some people want to rebuild the world after all.

In other news, I managed to calm down but I'm now stuck inside Wil Wheaton's left pinky finger bone. I'm not sure how this happened.

No humans you aren't allowed to oppose the people attempting to save reality from a cataclysmic event and in the process likely give rise to that same phenomenon or at least assure it happens should you succeed. No DNA, you aren't allowed to grant any organism possessing you theoretically infinite power through the use of sufficiently large ego. No humans, you aren't allowed to build a robot the size of the universe through your own recursive, self-referential egos of both infinite size and density, and no you are not allowed to create a drill 10 times larger than the universe, again purely out of your own ego, without the universe breaking from that. No series, you shouldn't portray the people attempting to save the universe from a cataclysmic event that will destroy everything forever, yes even the people who came back to life for no reason at all other than they felt like it, as the antagonists.

According to this anime, bacteria are the most dangerous things ever, because there's so many of them, and each of them has DNA which grants unlimited power for no real reason, thus allowing any life to exist anywhere guaranteed the cataclysmic self destruction of the reality in question.
There is an upside, though. If I were to place Tzneetch from 40k into this series, the resulting overload of hope would be quite an effective bomb.
