Are you talking about why the stormtroopers were bad shots? Many of them didn't worry about that sort of thing. Not just anyone can become a stormtrooper, only the elites. A good portion of them were brainwashed or cloned anyway.I just handwave it as being the Force.

They were based off of Clone Troopers, who I remember doing some things that are almost militarily impossible.Stormtroopers only have terrible aim and worse armor when the plot demands it. Anyone remember the opening scene from A New Hope? The stormtroopers obliterated the security team of the Tantive IV while taking maybe four casualties total. They're highly elite units in the background material.Clearly these were fakes. Storm Troopers have a long and colorful history of having people pretending to be them.
