Yes, this is how a dystopic novel could start, assuming one person (this would be me) gamed the system and remembered that everyone else existed and had engineered a way into this system to have the unaware everyone else do whatever s/he wanted.

^ Actually they're saying nowadays that brushing right after eating is bad for your teeth - acids from food soften the enamel, which can be eroded faster with brushing, and the brushing pushes the acids deeper into the enamel layer. You're meant to wait at least 1 hour after eating before brushing so that the ph neutralizes.

Some are recommending that it's a better policy to advocate brushing before meals now. Well this is certainly happy news for people who felt guilty for not being in the habit of brushing after every meal :/
