While it's not video games, I find a lot of Adventure Time to be downright terrifying.  Lemongrab has disturbed me more than all the Lovecraftian horrors...

On games though, let's not forget the entire game of Majora's Mask.
All of it.
Especially that mask guy.
That... mask guy...

Nicolas Cage mod is downright terrifying.

It seems pretty nice from what I know of maps.
I know nothing of maps.
It looks good.

No idea, as I'm not that much of a Dead Space buff. These things are about the size of an actual moon, can FTL travel, and apparently cause Necromorph invasions in their sleep. I'll try to find a link or something.

Also, I discovered a continuation of Calvin and Hobbes called Bacon and Hobbes.
...The whole 26 years later thing actually kinda works.

Though I can't help but wonder the context that led to a firstborn daughter being named Bacon.

Whatever the reason, Bacon should be an official first name. Srsly. Best name ever.
Her name is Frances, but her nickname is Bacon.

A moon-sized planet-destroying superweapon versus a moon-sized blob of flesh? I think the superweapon wins :|
Moon-sized flesh blob with INSANITY POWERS.
Emperor Palpatine constantly maintained a low-level presence in the minds of his soldiers to make them more fanatical and boost their reflexes, at least by a little. No puny insanity powers would mess with that, at least not before the big laser fired.
I think that an entity composed of an entire species' psychic potential could beat out Palpatine, no matter how powerful he was.

I don't think there's anything in the ME universe that can withstand a planet-destroying laser.
2 planets?!
Ah Ah Ah
For about three minutes, sure.
Idea. Necromorph

vs Death Star. Say it's 1 vs 1. Who win?

There was a Spore GA adventure referencing both the Andromeda Strain and The Thing called 'It Came From The Sky'.
Surprisingly creepy for a Spore thing.
I read TAS for my H-Biology class last semester. How did it tie in with Spore?
I forget honestly; I haven't played the adventure in a while.

Neo being able to do stuff in the 'real world' is very easy to explain:

It's not the real world either.

Alternately:

It is the real world, but it's still a fantasy real world.
I and many others have the theory that the 'real world' is actually another level in the Matrix. After all, if they devote enough processor power they can do anything, and escaping the 'Matrix' will satisfy the few who want to escape. And the machines get to have our body heat, and we get to think that we escaped. Win/win.

Also, I discovered a continuation of Calvin and Hobbes called Bacon and Hobbes.
It was brilliant. Unfortunately, the webcomic hosting it ended, but it's being picked up by a guy on DeviantArt.

Nice chapter! Sorry I haven't posted anything. Couldn't post long paragraphs easily on my phone.  :P
Easily? Bah. I once played a god game on FG&RP exclusively on a mobile device!
Also, PTR. This is interesting.

I'm.... just curious if you like this band? What exactly has happened here?

You might've gotten a better reception in the music thread.
Plus Bay12 tends to take the ridiculous option in polls 'just cause'.
