While in the UK they are moving it back onto testing and rote learning (this last bit only to an extent). :-\
Every exam where they can pass the students on through sheer rote learning they will do so. English? Have some 'notes.' Abandon all original ideas, too risky. Maths? You see these equations? Yeah you can only use those. Don't answer it any other way you can imagine. Modern languages? Memorize these essays. Art? I don't know, burn Picasso into your retinas or something.
All right class, the government has told me that all circles must now be drawn in straight lines with rulers...

I were clearing out the hundreds of tabs I have running here before shutting down the PC for cleaning (it's normal operational temperature is in the high 80s now, should fix this before shit goes down) - and I managed to salvage three out of six pages from the dykeface thread. I should probably refrain from mentioning it at this point, but hey. Not all has been lost! Just the majority of the hilarious stuff. Pages 3, 4 and 6 actually.

In other news, there was a beautiful thunderstorm a mere hour ago which has thrown me into a mellow state of being. Air never gets cozier to breathe than this.
You got them?! You lucky bastard.

When I woke up I saw an injury on my knuckle that I had gotten from punching my wall, but had healed. Now it's gone again.

I'm thinking my dream perception may have leaked a bit.
You are Wolverine. It's the best explanation I've run into.

Demonic tree.

(Of course coinflips won't save us; the coins are all in league with the dice!)

Determine if there are any...disgruntled members of the team, or any beings like us not on the team.
But they're all not like us because they want to create and shit without us

[Don't see why the mages can't do it. Just create the wolf around the stone, slave the wolf to the stone so it has control over the body. It should be able to levitate just as usual, except the stone now has a wolf body instead of a stone body.

Good thing about it is that you can have a sapient thing that is made of metal and can fly.

Only problem is that you have a sapient thing that can fly and is made of metal.]
(...We could just do it with me.)

((O.O
First step - dominate stone.))

I should say, I wouldn't be surprised if that didn't put it in Google's dictionary. Especially since it didn't exactly enter common useage.
What with Ancalagon only being mentioned in one passage of a book that's more impenetrable and obscure than Leviticus, I'm not surprised.
I think more people would know what the Silmarillion was over what Leviticus was.
You are optimistic, sir.

I effing loved that game. You could be such a good person.

I played a dwarf noble named Ragnus. I walked up to a stall selling weapons and began to inspect the goods. Upon noticing that I was a Prince of all Dwarves, the vendor perked up and told me what an incredible honor it was to have me look at his stall and can he help me find anything and blah blah. I responded by looking up from the vendor's wares, turning to my manservant dwarfservant, and asking him why this lowborn peasant was speaking to me. My dwarfservant (Ogdin? Orkin? I'm not really sure) sharply rebuked the vendor, and I continued to browse without buying anything. Then I strutted my royal arse off to fling my completely deserved authority around elsewhere.

I later lost my royal position. This did not prevent Ragnus from being better than everyone else around him, regardless of actual social stature. Ragnus is dwarven royalty, and if the entirety of the dwarven kingdom disagrees, then they are clearly not royalty themselves. If Ragnus must take the mantle of the only true royalty in existance, then so be it... and if anyone forgets the above, he will remind you gladly and constantly henceforth.

Needless to say, his entire party hated him with an absolutely incredible passion by the end of the game. Except for Stinky the Dwarf. Those guys were best pals.

I guess this is a own? I certainly got enough laughs from it.
Totally doing that on my next Human Noble run.

Agree with above, except HEAL instead of PURIFY.

Yeah, definitely.
Tankbot activated.

Well, I guess I'd better look after my flock. God wants that, right?

Gronok explores the surrounding area for Onon!

Hey! Keep your mind-tentacles off that guy!

Niklas grabs into the stone and adds his mental power to Sigmund's! He tries to bend the stone to his will!

Shunt all my paperwork across to Xantalos.
Inform young punk that I already did it. He stands no chance against the original bureaucrat.
