Maybe bacon would make you happy?
Bacon is for sycophants and products of incest.

I feel so sorry for you, not knowing the glorious touch of majestic bacon upon your dreary and boring taste buds.
The fear and madness of the pigs gives the meat a delectable quality.

Mages.

Walk forward, greet the old people. Ask what they're doing.

The Tyranids don't exactly use Warp travel the same way everyone else does. They're pretty much completely emotionless, and travel in VAST swarms, so they... Calm the Warp. Making travel much simpler for them. It causes this effect called the 'Shadow in the Warp' where Astropaths lose their minds, Psykers go insane, and Navigators go blind. Then they all head-asplode.

One psyker has MANAGED to 'read' the Hivemind psychically and not implode his own brain, and that was Tigurius, Chief Librarian of the Ultramarines. Apparently the Tyranids are bad fucking news, is what he gathered from his mind-reading session.
It's because they're all psychically linked abd constantly chattering to each other. Apparently that much interference causes the Shadow.

Please note: I am not being a lazy GM, I'm just a bit ill. I think I have everyone's PM so hopefully I'll do the next dramatic turn in a day or... three? Probably two.
WE CAN WAIT, YE GODDAMN OMNIPOTENT FORCE THAT CONRTOLS OUR VERY EXISTENCE! IT'S NOT LIKE WE HAVE ANY PERCEPTION OF TIME WHEN YOU'RE GONE ANYWAY!

Why can't she be a girl grizzled old private eye?
Why does that strike me as something Tarantino would do if he made a noir crime drama?
Brb giving Tarantino his next movie idea

...

I wish.

Demonstrate on 'survivors', be methodical, make sure he understands. But do it in a tough-love kind of way- there aint gonna be no place in this world for a horrible abomination like him, so he's gotta grow up strong!

I for one am against modifying our perfectly-formed badger body.
He aint no marmot, so recommend we call him Peanut.
Call him Peanut Syrup and it's a deal.

((Aww, I got in too late. Ah well, this'll be fun to watch.))

The biggest thing that I notice about anger is that while it clarifies and clears your sense of purpose in the short term, it tends to greatly reduce your ability to view the long term. As such you become more likely to do things that are harmful in the long run, simply because said things are more beneficial to your short term goals (notably to get back at whatever is causing the anger).
Yeah. Anger gets me motivated to do stuff, but said stuff is neither productive not sanctioned by the Geneva Convention.

Alright, for all the people that were kind and nice to me for my endless whining in the sad thread, I'm going to have to render it all retroactively obsolete.

Through some miracle, a true miracle, I managed to text Deli Girl again, got a reply and a date going at the very last second. I met up at her place to watch some movies, and holy shit does this wind up just being just the greatest night. Within minutes we're laughing and joking with eachother, we're just talking and getting to know eachother. We wind up cuddling on the couch, and by the time I'm ready to leave, she keeps me held at the door for maybe a solid five minutes and we're just kissing and holding eachother like we've been doing this forever.

I never in a million years woulda thought things would turn out that good. I just don't know how luck like this exists, and if not luck, I wouldn't think I'd have this ability hidden inside of me for all this time.

So yeah, happy.

dude

this isn't luck

quit not-blaming yourself for everything not-bad that happens

and the inverse of that, too

Yeah. You did this to yourself. You F**KING earned all that AND you deserve it pal.

There's no "luck" element. Only hard work and effort. You gave it your all.
MURICA wait what are we talking about?
Oh yeah. Good job Joshua.

The shopkeep seems to flatten and become extremely boring. All right, I'm prettysureyoucouldtrytokilltheJabberwockbutyouhaveto- he pauses to sigh - mnnnhbnbnmnkbn He begins to shrink as he mumbles, eventually turning into a flea that hops away.

The heroes, such as they are, look around! The shop they're in front of appears to be on an infinitely long street of cobblestones stretching infinitely far in either direction. On either side, there's an ornate door decorated with bright stars and other such doodads. Everything else is covered in a very bland fog.
You all wonder how all this appeared without you noticing. What do you do, intrepid voyagers of wherever you are?

Zombies. Tyst svenska mordet tid.

MR FOX. Vilseledande.

Quietly call Mr Fox (assuming the ability is still active, which the spoiler says it is) and get him to trick the Tank into attacking the Witch.
Remain quiet, choppitying anyone attacking me in the throat.

And since anger lowers you inhibitions about violence and clouds your thinking process, that is definitely Not Good.
I find that anger clears the clouds and gives me increased clarity.
I think you're talking about Anger, while what Hans is referring to is rage. 2 different things.

27825
Give him a punching bag to work out on whenever he gets in that mood.
That way he could concentrate his anger on something specific without potentially harming anyone?

Catharsis is a lie. Humans are creatures of habit. If you always punch things when you get angry, you're going to associate punching things with feeling better. And since anger lowers you inhibitions about violence and clouds your thinking process, that is definitely Not Good.
This man speaks the truth.
