The old blue man sitting in his spectral chair huffs out a sigh that manifests as a cloud of smoke coming out of his mouth.

"I'm not of a mind for violence right now. Old memories came up a while back. Before I disappeared to wherever I went. Forgot how tired they make you."

He lists off and stares into space while Buki talks with Ao and Galen.

"Right. All I've heard from the people who harp on about it is that it's the evolution that makes up our very being that is the enemy of things. As we grow in spiral power so too will our bodies and numbers grow until they reach such an extent that gravity will take us in its grip and end the universe with our being.

So they say, anyhow."

"Bite me, child. She's a beastman and old enough that I have personal history with her. Stay out of shit that isn't yours."

"Shut your trap, you fucking fake fox simaculara. I'm not in the mood."

I still have the Turnkey's knife in my inventory. If this is some sort of quantum buggery, grab it before it disappears.

Then bang on the blacksmith's door.

"Yo blacksmith, I got you your profane thing! Just two more now."

Tömas grunts.

"Any progress with solving the Nemesis?"

Carefully head inside and hit the 'up' button. See if anything happens. Make sure to use multiple vision modes if I have them to see any invisible gribblies.

Right, this is why I disliked some of them.

Tömas addresses Buki, mostly ignoring all the babble elsewhere.

"Good. I've no idea what was going on with the girl but I'm glad it's over. Explain the Anti-Spiral. To my knowledge there was only one, and combined with what was happening to the girl, it's giving me some shitty thoughts."

In the Gunmen hangar, a spark of blue light appears in an out-of-the-way corner. It hangs midair for a moment, vibrating with incredible intensity, before exploding outwards with a bang reminiscent of a firecracker, leaving Tömas lying unconscious on the ground. He quickly jerks awake, climbing up and glancing around. His eyes are bleary.

"...wha? The f... why am I here? Where am I?"

He floats out of his corner and sees the hangar proper, startling a few workers.

"Sorry. Now then, this place ... familiar almost.

Almost...

FUCK."

His form ballooning up into near-cartoonish proportions, he fairly flies straight out of the hangar, leaving the maintenance workers who'd happened upon him very confused.

Some time later, Tömas rockets through the wall of Leeron's office (or wherever Buki and the rest of them are having their conversation.

"I don't know what happened. I phased out or something. I'm back now. What happened? Last I remember some girl was ... I don't know. Something bad was happening to her. And we had to help her. Kill her if need be. But then everything goes blank."

He seems a bit frazzled, even for a ghost.
