Anyway, it went down like this:
I was a detective working down in Brooklyn, and I'd been called for a missing persons case, nothing special in Brooklyn at this time. In fact it was a little pathetic how little their tracks were covered; the kidnappers accidentally cut the girl - it was a little girl, just so you know - while they took her, and left a little trail behind them. They weren't very subtle, either - they knocked over trash cans, left doors open behind them, all that. Anyhow, it was quite the shock when I stumbled upon some sort of ... spider like thing, holed up in a warehouse on the edge of town. It was doing something to the girl, but I couldn't see what. I pulled out my PISTOLGUN and unloaded on the thing and called the cops when it stopped thrashing around. Instead, you guys pulled in. I think you took the girl too; hopefully she's okay."

Seriously, though. You're not doomed at all. Hide in the world's core, it'll be too much trouble to get at you. You have Corvus and I, and presumably Shuwhat'sgman'scharacter'snameagain. Just contact the two Ascendants IC and give us a reason, and we'll see what we can do. Nelkathar shouldn't be hard to convince, he hates Udil. And, if we can do this, I might even inform you of my plan...
But before this alliance goes out of control, make it IC.
