As Mutare's avatar appeared in the cities of Hadria, a terrible sound resounded throughout the skies. A voice, full of anger and hatred, was heard by the avatar - the humans around it all died from the noise.Saywha about my kids not being harmed?

Before the Avatar, Thaenos materialized himself. He was wielding his World Hammer, and his eyes were blazing with fury. He spoke once again, his booming voice as strong as thunder or an earthquake.
"You are the one who took my son! You intruded my lands, and took my son, and lead to his death!"
As he spoke, something similar to a vague of cold went from Thaneos' body and into his weapon, as he was powering it once again with his own energy.
"YOU TOOK MY SON!"
And with those last words, he lifted his Hammer against his head, and the last thing the humans of that city felt before all dying was immense cold, and the world itself trembling.
Thaneos attacks Mutare, with the intention to kill him. Just before the battle, he empowers his Hammer with an Ice act, making it freeze anything too weak to handle its strength, and a Soul act, making it trace and destroy the essences, not just the bodies, of those he kills.
I think it was that you modified your post in direct response to his actions, which could be considered sort of metagamey from some perspectives.I kinda did that at one point, so I can forgive her since she's probably going to die anyhow.

Stathra Ozosparro The Elevated Socket of Strategy marched triumphantly through the catacombs, nursing a bruised right hand and walking with an almost imperceptible limp, cause by an earlier mace blow to his iron armoured left lower leg. He was weary from combat, slightly hungry and felt the rage burning in his heart at the loss of his companions to the vile Elves.Awesome.
The female Elf Pike Master rushed out at him from the shadows cast by one of the stone pillars holding up the low wall, Stathra gripped his own Silver Pike tightly, grimaced, obscured due to the Iron Full Helm He was wearing, and counter-charged. Both opponents furiously striking and parrying, the nimble Elf dancing around the heavily armoured, bulky human.
Numerous times She fled into the darkness, only to be followed and launch a surprise attack from the flank or rear of the Human Soldier. Finally, after a gruelling, hour long fight, the Elf was nicked by Stathra's pike in the foot, nearly incapacitating Her, and slowing her down immensely. He was on Her in an instant, striking her on the left side of the face, delivering a heavily blow from a gauntleted right fist, and she was knocked into the realm of unconsciousness.
Grimly, Stathra set upon avenging his slain comrades, dropping his pike, taking the Elf's weapon as well and depositing them over in a far off corner. He straddled the fallen elf woman, seizing her hands in his before breaking and snapping them at the wrist joints. The Soldier grabbed her by her long, lustrous brown locks, and dug his thumbs into both of her eyes, before ripping off her nose, taking out several teeth, and pen-ultimately, through sheer strength of arm, ripping the tongue straight out of her mouth.
She woke, screaming from the pain, before being slowly silenced as his hands clamped fastly around her thin neck, and begin to tighten.
