General Discussion / Badass Quotes Thread
« on: January 17, 2013, 03:27:24 am »
First things first:

ATTENTION!
There are to be no quotes specifically involving the crotch/ass region solely because it involves the region. This results in an angry Xantalos, an angrier ToadyOne, and a locked thread. Nobody wants that. So keep your fetishistic crap to yourself.
I did not even notice that pun.

So! This forum being what it is, it is filled with tales of hilarity, horror, and ham. I figured that we needed some concentrated badass.
Put any badass quotes you find on the forums or elsewhere in this thread, be it from literature, movie, etc. I'm fairly certain you all know how to do BBC code; if the quote is on the forums use the handy dandy quote button, and if it's from outside then use this without the spaces inbetween: [ q u o t e = a u t h o r = name ](quote here)[/quote]

Please don't alter a quote so that it's false; sure, you can trim quotes, but don't go crazy.
Anyhow, with that horrible introduction out of the way, let's get to the badassery!
Quote from: author=Wizard Listens-To-Wind of the White Council of Wizardry, better known as Injun Joe; Dresden Files
"Don't mean to bind or break you, old spirit. Just going to kick your ass up between your ears."
Oh, and if you're quoting from outside the forum, please say WHERE the quote is from. Thank you kindly.

Just a random thought; we should have a 'badass quotes' thread.
That's what TV Tropes is for.
I meant as an equivalent to the OOC quotes thread.

Just thought of it after you said, "I CANNOT STOP WONDERING WHICH CREATURE WOULD WIN IN A FIGHT AGAINST IT!"
Ah. So essentially 2 separate Things, each with different cell colors or something to destinguish them during the fight, brawling Thingo a Thingo?
Nice.

...I just got an imagine of Space Pirates trying to study the Zerg.

"The bad news is they don't roll up into a perfect sphere by violating physics. The bad news is that they keep killing us all."

Against a not-so-benevolent Thing. I'm assuming parallel universe travel or something, how we got two seperate, philosophically differing eldritch beings is not as important as what'd happen when they went toe to toe.

I mean, the benevolent guy has got the humans backing him up with flame throwers and other goodies (I'm guessing, in terms of biomass, he'd just eat like... The Amazon or something) while the Evil Twin just noms with impunity.
Wait, how did this idea come about?

I tried to get The Thing, and he came up with Jabberwock - pretty close. He thought I was talking about porn or something when I tried to get him to guess Toady.

A benevolent Thing would win against it, because it would have all the powers of the Thing, plus the help of humans to give it that little edge.
Win against what?
