In the most recent book, Mr. Dresden becomes much more of a heavy hitter. Though I think Ebenezar is still more bad ass, if only because of experience. Old age and treachery, and all that.
2 more books to go!
Until I reach the newest one, that is.

See: Doctor Who, new series 5.  These cracks in space-time that will be created will delete your race from existence in the same manner.
Can you explain it to me? I really don't want to have to watch a tv series I've never watched for the sake of a minimalist RTD.

Okay, I will watch this closely.
As for me ... I have no real philosophy. I went through my idealist phase at 10, my cynic phase at 12-13, and a bunch of others in that general time period. Now I look at the people running around and killing each other, and laugh at how short a time they last. I ponder abstract theorums while my meatsack body does its chores, and I while away the time with petty fantasies and idle visions until I can go free again.
