Darnit now you've given me a craving for jellyfish. And it's unlikely to get satisfied since it takes 3 days to prepare and normally results in my mom buying most of the store's supply in order to get a decent amount.

I thank wierd for the formatty stuff, and basically everything here.
In previous science experiments, this has a chance of getting a status flag ("falling") stuck on the dwarf, with all downward motion suspended.
Procedure: To create a fortress with a modded set of raws to remove corporeal requirements for dwarves (food, drink, alcohol dependent), wait for the initial marriages to occur, then attempt to suspend the married females in the "falling limbo" state.
Ultimate goal: To determine if scheduled pregnancies of married females will result in births while "in flight."

Now dwarves doing it is because they don't go into labor or anything, the pregnancy timer runs out and a baby is generated on-the-spot. So it can literally happen anywhere, regardless of what the mother is doing. As long as she isn't horribly miserable, she probably won't even miscarry.Anywhere, you say?
What about if she happens to be falling off a tower and the baby splatters on top of her corpse?
