Besides Europe, they have one of THE biggest boom sticks arsenals. Nuclear boom sticks go boom. After the fallout settles down, gamma radiation and nuclear winter everywhere. Yaaaay.

That does seem like something MURICA would do. And probably what Jef would anticipate if his spread got to the point where they'd have to nuke the city/wherever Jef is. He'd have moved house by then.
