My opinion on this is probably obvious.

In all fairness I'm fairly sure we could've warned you of the occupational hazards of hooking up with a Norse goddess, Neo :P

...honestly I'd forgotten all about it. I probably won't remember it tomorrow.
Sure it was a bad thing that all those people died and those buildings got wrecked, but ... it was 14 years ago. There's a memorial in New York. Not to be blunt, but I don't see why such a big deal's made out of it. For those who had family or friends there I can understand that it was a traumatic event and such, but for it to be all over the news and the internet... I dunno. I never see any other violent attack brought up without fail every year. Columbine, any of the various subway bombings, I'm pretty sure there was a thing in Japan where some guy put toxic gas in the whole system and killed a few thousand people, or if you want to give extreme examples Hiroshima/Nagasaki, though for all I know they're memorialized on a day in Japan.
...
People die in terrorist attacks and stuff all the time. Dunno why this one's made such a big deal of.

Yes, but also three hours of really intense testing on pretty much everything you know in karate. All the forms and stuff, one of which includes being hit basically all through it. Breaking boards and stuff too.
Oh, and a solid hour of that is sparring. Full-contact, high-intensity, goddamn exhausting sparring.

Honestly I felt kinda guilty after he passed out because at one point I tried to kick the guy in the gut and my foot went too high so I accidentally kicked him right in the face, so I was worried I might have given him a concussion, but he didn't so it was alright.

Honestly it was an interesting experience watching one of them while not being the one tested.

Well, this has been a hectic day.

Was at a black belt grading, and the guy who was being tested fainted out of exhaustion. We had to call an ambulance for him and stay in the hospital with him until the doctors cleared him. Damn I was hungry afterwards. Fortunately the guy turned out okay, but still, stressful thing to go through for the sensei and the guy's family.

Heh, this is exactly like I remember it.
New character'll be up in several hours as I'm at work right now.
I wonder which minmaxed combination would work better...

I forget, do people still believe in the Mayan gods?

maybe the lack of worshippers sapped the destroyers power to the point where it could only end the world for the remaining believers?
Well, there are still people worshiping thor, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Not enough sacrifices have been made and soon the hermaphrodite demon women with rattlesnakes for penises shall break into this reality and destroy everything
Stop reading ahead in Mission 21's script.
Oh, this thing? I particularly like the bit where *tranqu'd*

I recall I once nearly got bit by a water moccasin and the nearest hospital was several hours away by boat.

Fun times.
