Indeed. The only good tree is that Norse one, Yddgrasyil or however you spell it.WRONG SIR! Trees do not hate all that walks, they hate all that has cut into them, all that has USED them. The forests, while incredibly monstrous to us with the usage of the parasites known as elves, are in fact merely defending themselves. In truth it was WE, the humans and dwarves who started this war. The forests are simply fighting back, in the most fearsome way they could imagine.I concur, the trees attacked me first! Why else do they keep growing closer to my walls, if not to invade with their birchy limbs? They seek the taste of blood.

But we shouldn't judge elves by what they appear to be trying to appear as. What if it's a double ruse, and elves are in fact the actual parasite, fooling the host (forest) and its competitors (humans 'n Dwarves) into accepting it as the sole guardian of vast swathes of feeding grounds?
