There is variety, though...there's a crapton of characters, and they get into the pantheon dependant on how well they're recognized. LOTR and Gandalf are very recognizable.

But neither Gamdalf nor Merlin have any positions in the pantheon! I just realized I've migrated entirely out of the upper forums. Kinda sucks that I won't be able to see what the dorfs and adventurers are up to, but I can't bring myself to go back. Maybe it's because I haven't played DF for about a month.
