In my experience you can kill a BC only with steel weapons. Iron might work too, but it will take forever. They make great sparring partners though. After 3 days of fighting I got lots of skills and stats up to legendary and superdwarven.

Also, STAY INSIDE AT NIGHT until you have legendary shield user, dodger, and weapon skill. Probably armor user too. If you get bogey'd, back up until only one of them is in front of you. Attack a vulnerable part, aiming for the lower body if possible. You'll charge, knocking them over. Back up. Rinse and repeat until they die or it's dawn.

As someone who is paid, fed, and provided with glory and a reasonable share of any treasure our party comes across by my boss, the legendary hero, Gandalf McPunchyface, I should not go chasing after it, thus potentially endangering myself and my comrades, and wasting valuable time. That marauding dragon won't slay itself!

*Mr Burns impression* Eeeexcellent. With the torture thing, I meant that RD could concievably be captured by an enemy and spend the intervening battles getting tortured while on the waitlist before escaping, thus rejoining the party. She can't die, allowing for unlimited pain!
