Class advanced to the third one.
Yep.

4667
Thanks. I'll just keep them off for a few minutes.

Darren shucks his gloves off in an awkward manner that entails him not actually touching the outside of them with his skin and places his now uncovered hands on a nearby desk.

4668
That's good.
...
I won't break anything here if I touch it, will I? Not that I'd touch any of you! I just wanna get these things off for a bit. Hands get sweaty in them.

Given that the students likely stay there until they're able to function in human society, they have lots of time.

Self Control

Darren holds up his hands, swathed in his bulky gloves.

I don't exactly know what you'd call it - breaking magic? Destruction magic? Point is, I break anything I touch, or, or focus on too much, or stuff like that. I wear these gloves so I don't break everything I hold, but they don't work all the time.
I'd like to be able to touch things without hurting them again. Especially considering I've already hurt someone...
he trails off, staring at his hands, which are shaking very slightly.

((Maybe allow something like with the YAOI HOUR, and let people do both if they want too?))
((Seems workable.))

4672
((I'd personally like to do these considering that they were the classes I'd been waiting for.))

Depends on where you are in state. Some parts have rednecks, some parts of the cities are ghetto, some parts are hipster, some parts are modern, etc.
It's basically a blend thing.

4674
"Ah, I see you now.
...do I need to talk to talk to you, or can you read my thoughts?"

Darren becomes very alert all of a sudden, looking around for wherever Ripols is, albiet attempting to be nonchalant about it.

Okay Darren, either you're starting to hear things or something off of Stargate apparently developed telepathy and is at this school.
...not really sure which is more plausible.

"Huh. Where are you, Ripols? I don't really know what a Replicant is, exactly."

The Emperor becomes the Chaos God of stagnancy and order and domination and servitude.

That is basically the complete opposite of what he was in life.
I love it.
Yeah, it was presented as basically the equivalent of the Fall of the Eldar only for humanity, caused by the extreme amount of authoritarian rule and stuff in the Imperium and the dogma of unquestioning servitude to the Emperor. When he died it all kinda catalyzed.
The Astronomicon also got reborn when the Tyrant came around, but looking at the new one too long brainwashes you into becoming one of his minions.

Of course this isn't the end of it, at least one part of ol' Empy floated off and all the Endgame factions haven't shown up quite yet.

EDIT: Found that quote.

Anyway, to expand on the point regarding the difference between Chaos Gods and the Eldar Gods in this game, the Chaos Gods can have their domains described by a single word or a collection of single words. Khorne would be violence / hate, while Slaanesh would be excess. They are broad, but they lack definition, which is why the Chaos Gods are so inconsiderate of consequences. Tzeentch is happy to weave endless plans until they snarl and tangle each other up or even backfire on him, and Khorne doesn't care about the source of the blood, so long as it's flowing.

The Eldar Gods are best described as stories. Cegorach is not just trickery, he is someone defeating his enemies by using mockery and trickery to remain distant while turning their strengths against them, just as he did during the War in Heaven when he convinced the C'tan to start eating each other. When a Solitaire dies, Cegorach doesn't go into the Warp to brawl with Slaanesh for the soul, since he's nowhere near powerful enough to do that. Instead, he stirs up trouble with one of the other Chaos Gods, and snatches up the soul when Slaanesh isn't looking. Khaine is very close to Khorne, but you can see his stories in the Aspect Warriors. The Eldar Gods have a "how" in addition to a "what".

It's possible for humanity to form something similar to the Eldar Gods as well. It would be the story of someone who overcomes the innate advantages that monsters have through skill or determination or ingenuity.

Oh right. I'm Darren, Darren Andersen.

4678
I'd rather wait until we're in the class until I do anything because I don't wanna hurt anyon-
you're fading away. Turning transparent. Whatever it's called.

Must have to do with ... mental strength or somesuch. Keeping track of that many different particles must be a pain.
