Supernatural Type: Darren's a regular human with access to destruction magic. Right now it's mostly limited to breaking smaller objects like large pebbles in half and cracking bigger things like tables and chairs and such.

Description: Darren's of slightly higher than average height, with middling length black hair, short enough that it doesn't get into his eyes or anything. His eyes are green and his facial features could be described as narrow. That could be applied to him overall, actually, he's fairly skinny but not bony, he's just ... thin.

Darren started life as a regular human, and seemed set to remain that way until his first kiss in tenth grade. The details of what actually happened are rather sparse, but apparently there was a lot of blood and screaming. From that first manifestation, he had notable trouble controlling his new powers, breaking almost anything he touched. His family, desperate, reached out for help and the Academy answered.

He was apparently more outgoing before his powers manifested, but now he's a little withdrawn. 

He always wears gloves; when he arrives at the Academy they're quite bulky and thick, since it helps him somewhat with not breaking things he touches. Some mental thing likely.
