General Discussion / Re: Goblins: This bodes well

Welp.

As an aside, it doesn't look like the Indiegogo campaign is gonna succeed. Kind of a shame.

"Excellent choice, sir caviar."

Gak takes an elaborate bow.

"Eh? No, that wasn't an application, you already accepted me. So for every joke I tell, you owe me money.

And I'm a very entertaining gentleman.

Don't you gnaw your cartilage though, I'll wait until after the mission to collect."

"If you're gonna call me that, I expect to be paid for my services, just so you know. I'll accept a lump sum per week, thank you."

"You guys are really touchy about this topic. Were you touched when you were children? It's okay, just show on the doll where the octopus or whatever touched you."

He slowly licks a finger while leering, the sound slightly tinny due to it being metal on metal.

((My apologies in advance for whatever kerfuffle this turns into, I pick responses as Gak by picking the most reactionary thoughts I can that float up to the surface of my mind.))

"What? They were look, not touch."

No shame is evident on the metal doll's face.

Devour it from the inside. Incorporate it's flesh into my own.

"Giant tentacles already? Just like some of the racier theme parks I've been to."

Does our path lie behind the tentacle creature? If so, let's start figuring a way around the bugger. Flying over it, mayhaps? Or just wait for it to go away if the rest of the group seems inclined to do that.

Summon a minor horror of some kind and consume its essence.

For the moment, follow the group and keep my eyes peeled for nasties. Shenanigans can wait for later.

"Hey now, I may have my own particular ideas about how to have fun but I'm not evil. And if any of those guys are anything like the actually nasty folks back home, I'm not gonna fuck around and summon them for shits and giggles."

Hey now, I'm just a serial killer with an extreme lack of empathy and impulse control, I'm not evil!

Anyway, I vote 4, specifically a parallel dimension.

"I've got my knives, I'm getting better used to this body, and I've got some shit that needs doing. Let's fucking go fight some robot planet and rip it's heart out, fuck yeah!"

Express enthusiasm for the imminent violent entertainment I'm sure to receive.

Gak, seeing this opportunity for what it is, takes as many enchanted knives (whether just 'standard' supernaturally sharp stuff or more esoteric effects doesn't really matter) as the Armory will let him get away with.

Should help - make sure to really squeeze your elbows into your sides when pulling up though, that's what really engages your lateral muscles. Made a fair difference for me.
