Was going to post this yesterday but I was slept.
In English we had to write out a romantic scene, and I was the only person in the room to write it about two people who are presumably going to settle down and love each other. The rest were pretty much all one-night stands/obviously not stable or just so vague I couldn't make out anything.
At the risk of sounding corny, I'm more than a little scared of how devalued love seems to be in my generation. And I don't even LIKE romance.
Why is it that people always generalize children they see to the entire goddamn generation they come from?
Ya see sonny back when we was a kids we had ter act all proppa and wotnot, an' go uphill to the houses of our significant other both ways in a blizzard, with a rose all the way from th' next town over, see? Now these kids just got it too easy, see? Myah
