General Discussion / Re: Goblins: Oh hai Kin

Welp.

We haven't seen main universe Kin in quite a while, is this her? Or is it another alternate universe version?

Or are they not in that maze anymore? I've honestly completely forgotten at this point.

<Huh, neat! Well, I kinda zoned out after I turned into water, and then woke up in this big water place where there's water everywhere! I met this guy named Ocean, who's also a girl and me at the same time. It's pretty sweet, I can see all sorts of things now. I'm not gonna haunt you, no worries. Do you still have my eyes, though?>

If I'm capable of it, try to see if I can find where my eyes are, if Brad doesn't have them with him.
((Apologies, Parisbre, but you seem to have missed me.))

Regardless of when it comes out, I’m content in the knowledge that it’s still being worked on. Even if it ends up taking another 5 years or something, it’ll still be a game I can buy, and that’s enough for me.

Drop to my knees as they charge in and break a leg as they charge in - catch an ankle with one hand and smash the accompanying knee to the inside with the other, basically. Then either dodge roll away or scramble out if the one who I attack ends up falling on top of the other guy.

Well dang. Good to see he continued working on it. Hopefully this brings eventual fruit.

Good to see he hasn't given up. It always did smell more to me like someone got in over his head rather than some kind of really poorly executed scam.
Something along those lines, yeah. Those dang stretch goals are what did it, I reckon. But dead horses etc.

((I'll hopefully be able to resolve a bit of this confusion when my conversation with Brad concludes and I can talk to one of you guys.))

Daniels looks at whatever his arm has become and shakes his head in bewilderment. "Know what? With this happening as a thing and considering my current bitch of a semi-unsatisfactory situation, I may just take you up on that offer. I'm sure there's a way to consciously regrow my arm, but right now my curiosity's piqued. What do you want to try?"

Yeah, more experiments - why not?

*looks at The Beast Arising series*

He had to conquer all the rising Ork empires in the wake of the Eldar falling off their job as the galaxy's Ork pruners before Gharkul or some other Ork went Krork and fucked the whole galaxy over.

The campaign appears to have moved over to Indiegogo, with a lower target funding deal. Proof-of-concept deal.

Yeah but again it makes me wonder; human among the stars collapses during Old Night. What does he do though? Bunker down and start preparing the long game?

I seem to recall some HH stories that imply he was traveling the galaxy doing "stuff" during Old Night. Like opening that doorway to the Realm of Chaos and dealing with the Chaos Gods, for one (a door Horus later found and went through himself as well.) My timing could be off though; it's a large span of time we're talking about here. Which, again, just makes me wonder what a guy like the Emperor was doing for a couple thousand years.
One theory I've heard espoused is that he was going around stomping all the daemon princes trying to ascend on all the various psyker-fucked worlds so that when the Great Crusade happened they wouldn't have to deal with a million unkillable fuckers.

It does get rather chewy after day 3 or so, but I've never been particularly scrupulous about the food I eat so long as it isn't bad for me.

Like you yourself said, it's mainly pasta dishes and various other starch-based things that keep for a week. Soups and stuff too, chilies, stews, etc. Or at least that's the kind of stuff I tend to eat, I try to cook only every 3 days minimum if I can help it. Doesn't always work that way, but pasta of some description, ground meat of some sort, tomato sauce and/or canned tomatoes, onion, garlic, maybe a bell pepper or two, a big batch of something like that tends to keep me for like 3-4 days or so, and can be lifted up pretty easily by adding herbs and such after re-heating.

Of course I have no idea what the nutritive figures on that sort of thing look like, and I figure having vegetables with a serving of the stuff is a sensible thing, s'what I do. But that's what works in my case.

Given my relatively young age I'm not sure if it would be as advisable for someone more likely to retain calories as fat, whether due to age/genetic predisposition/whatever else. I'm still in that lucky bracket where so long as I eat reasonably well I'm not gonna screw myself over.

Ramble complete for now, I think.

And if we're talking about the REAL number of primarchs....it's actually 23. But we don't talk about them. Because *BLAM*.
Nah, it'd be 21. Alpha and Omega were an extra one, and two were blammed making for 19 primmies in the great crusade.

There are 21 historical legions, and 21 primarchs and one of those legions has an extra primarch. So that's 22. Then you add the two that were BLAMMED. So that actually makes 24 total primarchs.
...
1. Dark Angels - 1 Primarch
2. DON'T ASK - 1 Primarch
3. Emperor's Children - 1 Primarch
4. Iron Warriors - 1 Primarch
5. White Scars - 1 Primarch
6. Space Wolves - 1 Primarch
7. Imperial Fists - 1 Primarch
8. Night Lords - 1 Primarch
9. Blood Angels - 1 Primarch
10. Iron Hands - 1 Primarch
11. SHUT YER FACE - 1 Primarch
12. World Eaters - 1 Primarch
13. Ultramarines - 1 Primarch
14. Death Guard - 1 Primarch
15. Thousand Sons - 1 Primarch
16. Luna Wolves - 1 FUCKING Primarch
17. World Bearers - 1 Primarch
18. Salamanders - 1 Primarch
19. Raven Guard - 1 Primarch
20. Alpha Legion - 2 Primarchs

That makes 21, my dude.
