That Starry Eyes thing was good.That's a little over a month without an update at worst, that's nothing for fanfics.
I'm not really one for fanfiction, but Worm was good and I like H.P Lovecraft, so I gave it a shot. I wonder if it's abandoned, though? Las update was December last year.

It really is exactly the same plot as Fern Gully, except with technobabble instead of magic.
