In a distant back room of the school, there's a pulse that ripples out all around the island, being felt by everyone to different degrees depending how far away from the room itself they were. If anyone were to enter the room in the ten minutes after the pulse, they'd see a vast, pulsating colourless yet every-coloured anomalous space in the centre of the room, which happens to be the room where Darnos and THE did the majority of whatever experiments they were conducting.
After ten minutes, it abruptly vanishes, and Darnos and THE aren't seen again on campus thereafter.

That's because the people keeping this thing alive right now are more or less the same people who kept a similar quest running for a far longer period without GM existence, they'd keep posting regardless of whether smurf gave a smurf or not.

« on: January 05, 2015, 08:33:20 pm »Maybe we could ask Xan to work out a fleshy creature that turns dead bodies into something entirely innocuous like potted plants (of course, the pot would be made of bone or wood if he can manage it, but that's probably not the most important issue).Adding those to my idea list.
Actually, can Xan imitate plant matter? There's no good biological reason he couldn't as far as I know, and it could be handy if he could turn into a tree apropos of nothing.
Also, third casualty of the Eater of Cold! Will we have a fourth or even a fifth by the mission's end?
