Shit, at my job I basically either serve roast beef to people all day or make poutine. Either are good as fuck.

Begin narrating Morgan Freeman's actions.
"But little did Morgan Freeman know he was about to get out-narrated and then stabbed to death."

Doesn't Miyamoto himself have a universal manip?
People use it, it's just that all our manipulator users keep on exploding.

"It'll serve for now. Yes, I do know what's coming, at least as much as someone like myself can know this early. It's very bad news. Very, very bad news. You are a practitioner - that is you have magic?"

At any rate, explain to this man that he's dead in a calm, neutral tone, and that protective equipment is likely to be unnecessary because of this, though it probably was unwise hanging out in here without it beforehand. Point at open vat to provide an example of potential occupational hazards in factories such as this.

I have no idea what motivates me.
I got up early today to accompany a friend while she gets some documents sorted out. It's the earliest I've gotten up in weeks, and it was a fairly productive outing, managed to get myself some really good crackers along the way, and generally had a good day out. Yet as soon as my friend went home I go straight back to my usual habit of lying around doing absolutely nothing but browsing various web forums. I won't lie, I enjoy doing so, otherwise I wouldn't do it, and the various quests and forum games I'm involved in are interesting and such. But I can't ever bring myself to do anything else. Whenever I have free time I just do that, and it's starting to get criticized by my family for it. I shouldn't read the internet all the time, I should go out and meet with a friend (of which I have 2 within a day's travel). I should go out and go to a store. I should go out and meet people, I should buy people presents, I should etc. But I can't find any motivation to do any of that; can't really make myself do anything besides do karate, read, or on the rare occasion that a friend wants to do something with me, that, and even those have a minimum of effort put in. Dunno why I feel so damn disconnected from everyone, but I am, and it's making me wonder how other people manage to do all the things they do on a daily basis.

I'm okay with monologuing, if only because that's how I eat the majority of the villains I encounter, by interrupting them during their final speech.

Though Merlin adopts a slightly apologetic tone, his face remains relatively neutral, his eyes dark and calculating.
"I'm afraid I'll have to remain M, at least for the time being. My time in this city has taught me several things, but most of all caution."
His voice becomes more pronounced and business-like.
"You can be rest assured I'm not competition for your criminal element or anything of the sort, though judging from what Johnny here has told me you aren't too concerned with issues like that anyway at the moment because what is coming is incalculably more dangerous. I assume you understand my meaning?"

Yeah, I dunno why anything about him being raped would be in the laugh thread.
