We could have the pill machine put on a table by the Armory and have it be useable only there. The AM could then stop anyone putting any stupidly dangerous things in there.

Or do the same to my helm if that's not how this thing works.

((I've no idea if I've forgotten how this thing is supposed to work but this will be an interesting turn either way.

Cautiously back away from this guy. If his thing works, wait until the floor is down in temperature to non-burning levels and go check out the burned guy, see how bad he's hurt. Don't actually do anything that would trigger a med roll though.

I've no idea what stevebots are other than that they're basically space fighter jets shaped like snowflakes, so I'd guess they'd be rather ridiculously expensive if they were.

I'm gonna have to think about this, honestly. Maybe cheaper because then shapeshifting would be more cumbersome, but have less limitations.
Probably gonna do more custom orders than anything standardized just so I don't have to think up an item list :P
But yeah that'd be possible too.

With some restrictions implanted. Can't let anyone else start harnessing the power of the flesh - plus it'd be OOC for me not to be paranoid about that.
But yeah something like that. It wouldn't be cheap though.

so, temperature will always be a problem; right? Even if you try to grow something to counter it, extreme temperature can still hold you down.

So, what material exists in ER that is cheap, easy to use, flexible, and ridiculously resistant to temperatures?
I'm gonna browse the wiki at one point and cheat, but my initial guesses would be Chem-Off, Battlesuit plate, the stuff they make civic longcoats out of, the stuff they make AoW cloaks out of-
Mk suit material maybe.
