That was pretty much the best part of Tolkein to me, how almost all the magic users in setting didn't really exert themselves at all, or if they did, did it offscreen, but left hints of 'holy shit so that's what that [odd event] was'.

From what I've heard from idle gossip, it seems more that Fuchisa, whoever she is, dislikes the demon, and the demon simply thinks of her as an interesting thing to fight. I can taunt her effectively enough.

If need be, and the class ends up with capture the flag again, as I've heard, I will head to the team opposite of the demon and stalemate her. Since I doubt she wishes to do anything beyond mindlessly fight, the greater conflict would then be free to proceed.
