Ah. An initial backlash, tempered by the fact that they fought off these Layar, no doubt magic beginning to make its way into various governance institutes, secretive organizations forming out of various intelligence departments to better deal with the various supernatural incidents, and isolation enclaves like this one. It's still in the early stages.

He seems to know what he's talking about for whatever reason.

Not as such. Most of the people here are here to learn how to better control or learn their powers. The girl demon would likely be flaying you alive or something of the sort if she were free. She doesn't understand that that has a time and a place.

Oh, I've met several people you would call bitches and I enjoyed their company. I insulted her because she was banished here by her father for being too much of a pest to be of use to him. From what I've heard she has great combat prowess, yet she claims those are only a fraction of her true abilities. I despise seeing power squandered like that because of shortsighted vindictiveness and an addiction to the pain of others.
