It would be cool if, couple of things would eventually be like in "UnrealWorld." Haven't tried it in years... It quite like adventure mode with all Dwarven skills...
In winter you would need to make camp in cave or build a house to survive in the wilds or just chop down trees to make fire and stay warm that way... Hopefully same thing is coming to DF...

I wasn't attacking anything in the cave, I was only lying down so that the monsters could kill me and get named. But something is killing off the named monsters. Any ideas?

Edit: There is also a hydra in the cave... but I thought that residents of the same area don't kill each other off. That is really my only thought, but I don't think it is the hydra

Well, one time i was playing a metalman was killing all the other inhabitants off...
Scared the hell out of me when i followed corpses to that metalman... I thought at first it was a mule on a rampage...  ;)

Since when was hunting repaired?
I got totally amazed when I but 3 peasants hunting when they immigrated. About half hour later i started wondering that why on earth  haven't any of those so called "hunters" died. Checked stockpiles and unit lists to find out that those guys killed all wildlife on that map and were still scavenging for some more. After that I thought it might be better to build crossbows for those guys so they wouldn't need to kill all those animals by their hands...

With second caravan to the fortress "arrives" a goblin ambush with 20 *Bowmen and 10 Swordgoblins. Then you realise that Defences are short of one mechanism and gobbos can walk straight in because of that. As Crazy as it is your only Woodcutter with your only available axe Slaughters all invading Gobbos except the one who ran away for reinforces. As your starting to clean you enterance from bodies with you 9 dwarves there comes new ambush and its game over for the fortress.

I'm still wandering that how in hell did that rookie kill +20 gobbos like that...

Well kind of but their annoyance would be: "annoyed by lesser's burial arrangements"

And it will do it every FREAKING time when I build grave to a living dwarf... No burial Chambers to Legendary dwarves...  ;)

Does any of your non-noble dwarves (like legendary miner) have huge detailed room?

What i have understand that if a non-noble have room of equal or higher value. Noble(s) have bad tought about it.

Well I got a similar problem on farm at 33d...
For couple of years no problems with fields, but when i changed from Plump helmet to Sweet pod and back to Plump helmet, after a year from sweet pod planting my farm field turned "red" and stayed couple of years that way till I abandoned... I tought without checking (of course as usual) that problem might be from "bugged" mud tracking meaning that Field loses Mud tiles that were not "used" until it  lost every mud tile under fields...
