The campaign isn't dead. Lemur just had personal business he had to attend to for a while. So no worries for anyone, This should be picked up when he gets back.

This is a fun one. I had forgotten about it. I can't say I'm very surprised about the low playerbase though.

What with its poor voice acting, poor sound, poor music, poor special effects, limited character models, overwhelming UI, sharp difficulty curve, a billion choices thrown at you all at once.

Don't get me wrong I am not saying the game is "bad". I am just saying that there is more then enough to scare away a large player base.

It is actually one of the few games where I think it could be improved with more gated content.

Or my personal favorite. Using the blacksmith's refine on a archer you have stuck or locked into a corner and just stacking those 15% damage buffs till you can one shot characters. Honestly, That buff shouldn't last as long as it does, or just make it so you can't stack more than three times.

I wouldn't mind going through a few matches in megamek right now. Anyone else in this thread interested in a few matches not related to the campaign being set up?

Went a head and put in my description. Seems like I'm going to be the Lance's Tanker.

Walking through the city as I looked around on the map. IE, I had my character walking through the map as I had zoomed out and was keeping a eye for players. Didn't notice the mines in time until it was to late and I stepped on them. Thank god that I managed to get back in time to nab all my shit before someone took it.

My partner died in the city so I was steadfastly defending his gear and shit from a group of radscorpians. Ghouls spawned in soon after and he arrived just as I defeated the first wave. Together we fought off about six waves of ghouls all while expending nearly six hundred round in ammunition. By the time the attack had ended, I had exactly five rounds left in my ak. Of course at that point, another player walks onto the map and pulls his gun out. There is sort of a weary, Mexican stand off feeling before he left.

Thank god for that to, we were literally out of ammunition entirely. Fucker could of killed us easily.

I opened the door to the room and darted inside of it, desperate to escape my pursuers only to realize several seconds to late that the room I had entered had been filled with deathclaws. At least they won't get to loot my body.

very helpful stuff and a vote here
Do you feel like being Lemur's Little Helper Xardalas?  :)
Quick edit: Already amended the OP with your vote.
Yet another edit: I'm currently in the process of downloading MekHQ 0.3.10 + Against the Bots. Once they're installed, I'll be putting a link up where you can download the end result. This may take a while so please have patience.

Eh, probably shouldn't be. I have a very poor attention span generally, I just happen to love mekhq and I know how frightening and confusing the UI can be. There really aren't any good guides for it and I'm afraid I'm a little to scatter-brained to ever write one. So I figured I'd just toss out random bits of information as I remember them to help others out. :P
