DF Suggestions / assigning dwarfs to stock piles

I would love the option to restrict dwarfs to only certain stockpiles.

I know this can kinda be done with burrows and or work shop assignments but iam much more interested in useing it to tell dwarfs which food stock pile they can eat from.

Iam sure there are other applications this could be good for such as limiting doctors to only certain stocks piles etc.

what does hideing items in stock screen do? is there anyway to stop items from showing up in the stock screen

it would be nice if there was a way to reveal to dwarfs that this dwarf is a vampire.

i dont like locking away a dwarf away from the others just because i know its a vampire i want the others to know its a vampire.

is there anyway to currently do this?

is there anyway to stop a cook from useing  4plump helmets all the time for cooking while still being able to use plump helmets. was hopeing i could get a good mix of food.

somehow i removed leggings boots from my world is there way i can add them back in without regening so i can still play.

pants are still in the game just cant make boots or leggings or greaves

ummm somehow i cant make armor leggings greaves or anything below the waist includeing high boots and low boots.

i also tried on the managers screen.


edit: nvm i may of modded them out on accident when i was trying to removes cloths and didnt relise when i made the world

do dwarves get buried with their equipment say like a woodcutter?

cant seem to find his battleaxe and now iam haveing a FUN getting wood without an axe lol

somethings i been trying to do is plan what i do when i hit certain amount of dwarves.

i still havnt got a plan but like at 50 dwaves i plan on haveing 10 haulers. and etc . having a plan is good but man sometimes that third wave does really feel over whelming .

Just to be clear, (I'm a newb) the second I embark my hunter will go around shooting things on his own and after about 2 minutes all 20 bolts I gave him are strewn around the map. Not sure if those are from misses or if this is related, but is there any way to avoid having to fish around the map for bolts and unforbid them?

u can unforbid them from the stock screen i think. you may need a book keeper for that tho

u can turn off furniture hauling.  and put some dwarfs with the hauling enabled into a burrow with a stock pile. but build the beds outside of the burrow.

also have the engraver in a burrow where he can pick up the made bed that arent in stock pile but include his workshop in the haulers burron so when he is done the haulers pick them up and put them into stock piles.

also with the ones u builts before hand dumping into the encrusters burrow before hand .

werid my whole river is stagnant but iam pretty sure there is nothing attached to it and i didnt do anything to it

is there anyway to turn off the new stone types such as liveing stone and cavefungus wall.

I really like the bug fixes of this mod but dont really wanna play with anything extra is that possible?
