DF Gameplay Questions / Military not relaxing

Hi community!
I've got a problem with my squads: They won't relax when put to "No scheduled order" (tried the "Inactive"-schedule as well). They still hang around in the barracks, doing individual combat drills and getting depressed for training too much. I want them to go to the meeting hall or to their bedrooms and just hang around, admiring their own beds and yelling at nobles. The only way to make them go away is by manually unchecking "Train" in the barracks. Is there a way to fix this? Or to make them happy with training all the time?
Not the biggest problem, but it's a little annoying.
