As for me, I think i'm going to go with a shaded relief painterly styled map.
Might change my mind though, not completely sure yet.

Thanks, and i'll probably just gen a world and do that. Seems the best bet, maybe illustrate a small story found in the gen-history.

The title should say it all, but as a long time lurker of bay12 and a decently long player of Dwarf Fortress, along with being a member of the cartographers guild, I thought "What's better then this contest?" It's perfect, I tell you. On a side note, i'm simply wondering what to do. A drawing of a fortress, or something of the entire world or a single region.

I was going to show you something I was working on for my friends, but, nah.
But, back on topic. What i'm asking for is what should I draw? And in what style? Any suggestions work, I could, if you guys wanted, I could recreate boatmurdered or any other popular succession fortress.

First and foremost; thank you for this awesome mod, secondly, a question.
Will you be expanding on the craft system, kind of like on the original Genesis? Where you could use the teeth, horns, or bones of your enemy (or your own teeth, for that matter. I know I did.)
I for one, would love to see that, it's the main reason I still play the original Genesis. If not, is there a way I could do it myself?

Am I the only one having a problem downloading this mod? When I click download the request goes through but what I get is

 "There was a problem with your download

We apologize, but we are having difficulties processing your download request. Please be patient while we try to repair your download request.

Restarting download in: 1 seconds"

And, no matter how many times I retry it won't go through. Sad day :'[
