2a.In this RTD, you have two action types; Free Actions and Standard Actions. You can perform as many Free Actions as you like (within reason) and there are no rolls involved; you just succeed (or fail if it's impossible). Free Actions include (but are not limited to) communicating, moving around, picking things up, dropping things and so on.

Standard Actions( Typed in bold) are the meat of RTD; you may perform one Standard Action per turn and they require a roll to see how well you do, the rolls are as follows;

0 - Godly Fail. At this point, you're probably dead, have taken someone else with you and made the entire world a whole lot worse. Pray that you never recieve this.Only achievable with a penalty.
1 - Epic Fail. You've failed beyond human proportions, whatever happens here... You hope that you survive it. Only achievable with a penalty.
2 - Big Fail. That didn't work, and you just made things worse as well!
3 - Regular Fail! You didn't succeed in doing what you wanted, also try not to hurt yourself.
4 - Lesser Fail. That didn't work try again.
5 - Success. You accomplished what you intended to do, but you didn't do anything spectacular and practically didn't learn anything. (No skill points gained)
6 - Lesser Success. You succeeded into doing what you wanted and learned something in doing so! (+1 skill points)
7 - Regular Success. Standard succes, (+2 skill points)
8 - Big overshoot. Whoops, you went a wee bit too far. The result is definitely what you wanted to, but with some unintentional side-effects; like you targeted the enemy cultist and blew up the entire city. (+3 skill points)
9 - Epic Overshoot Your action matches the acts of the heroes in legends but so does the overshoot. (+3 skill points) Only achievable with a big bonus.
10 - Godly Overshoot The gods tremble in your presence as your actions has reached even the gods themselves, whatever you did it is beyond good. The overshoot however is vastly bigger than you have imagined, your hope is that it's good. (+4 skill points) Only achievable with a big bonus.

Anything below 0 or above 10 is treated as a 0 or 10 respectively.

You can get bonuses from many sources, including magical buffs, skill training (see below), good equipment and random circumstance.

2b.Skills are another part of RTD; Skills can be anything, if you focus on it you can become skilled in opening doors. There's no list of skills and the only way to see if you can learn a skill is to try it.

Skills have 12 levels, each level requires more XP than the previous level.

Dabbling - 1
Novice - 2 (+1 bonus if the die rolls a natural 1)
Competent - 4 (Static +1 to all rolls)
Skilled - 7 (Static +1 to all rolls, successes are improved.)
Adept - 11 (Static +1 to all rolls, extra +1 if the dice rolls a natural 1, successes are improved.)
Talented - 16 (Static +2 to all rolls, successes are improved)
Professional - 22 (Static +2 to all rolls, successes are greatly improved.)
Expert - 29 (You may choose to take a +1, +2 or +3 bonus to your rolls, successes are greatly improved.)
Master - 37 (You may choose to take a +1, +2 or +3 bonus to your rolls, successes are substantially improved.)
High Master - 46 (Static +3 bonus to all rolls, successes are substantially improved. You cannot Overshoot.)
Grand Master - 56 (Static +4 bonus to all rolls, successes are massively improved. You may choose to Overshoot, or not.)
Legendary - 75 (You choose which number you roll from 0 to 10.)

You get bonuses at different skill levels as well. Note that each bonus replaces any previous bonuses.

2c.WEWNDS! Invariably you will meet people who are not very nice and who will try to hurt you, and whom you will try to hurt. You will be engaged in conflict and some of you will be hurt. These are the wound levels;

Lightly Wounded - Don't worry about it. You'll recover with a short rest and take no penalties. Just try not to get hit again.
Moderately Wounded - Ow. You take a -1 penalty to any rolls you make with this body part and may suffer some extra penalties if the part is important (like your brain). You'll heal after you take a fairly long rest.
Broken - Aaah! -2 penalty to any rolls made with this body part. Can only apply to brittle parts (like bones). Worse still, this will not heal by itself; you're going to need medical attention!
Mangled - Damaged beyond recognition. You'll be copping at least a -3 penalty to anything you try and use with this limb, and will probably be suffering a butt-ton of extra effects. Like Broken, this will not heal by itself.
Lopped Off - It's gone! Holy hell it's gone! You can't do anything that requires this part, and if it's an important part (like, say, your head) you are now dead. Worse still this cannot be healed by mundane means, and will require at least an Incredible success to fix!
There are also a number of status effects which may vary from time to time, i'll explain each effect when it turns up.

2d.For Fighting, i first roll to see if you are successful in making your attack, the enemy then gets a roll to see if he dodges, if he doesn't (which can be because of all kinds of things, size being one of them), i make a third roll to see how much damage you do.

Here i will explain difference status effects which your characters can acquire in the RTD. The effects vary from good to bad.

Exhausted:The user is physically tired and struggles to move or perform any other physical action. -3 to any physical moves the character tries to do. The Effect dissapears when: 2 turns pass, you consume a Restoration potion, you are cured by any stamina regenerating spells or after having rested or slept.
Drained: The user is magically dried out of any magic and is unable to perform magic successfully. -3 to any magical moves the character tries to do. The Effect dissapears when: 2 turns pass, you consume a Mana-Restoration potion, you are cured by any mana regenerating spells or after having rested or slept.

3a. Aside from skills you also have spells/combo's, every time you try out a new combo/spell you can make a skill from that combo/spell. For instance i just cast the spell: fireball. If you create the skill fireball you will have the ability to train the skill and be more successful with it until you are able to cast the spell without rolling!

Obviously spells which are harder to cast are also harder to train. Training the spell fireball which can be thrown on the fly is not as easy as training a volcano eruption.

Spell making is not limited to spells only, you can also create combo's like Penta slash Slashes the enemy target 5 times in rapid succession.)

Spells/abilities have different tiers than skills. You can gain new ranks/tiers by using the spell/move often but also by accomplishing impossible tasks, reading books or learning from someone else.
These are the following tiers:

Novice 0/0: You know how the spell/move works, but still have trouble using it. (No bonus)
Apprentice 0/4: You have some more insight how spell/move works , but alas you still aren't quite sure how to use it. (+1 to roll)
Journeyman 0/8:After using the spell/move many times you are now able to use it more often. ( +2)
Expert:0/14: You almost know everything there is to know about the spell/move, you are very confident that you will succeed using it whenever you use it. ( +3)
Master 0/20:You control the spell/move, you can use it whenever you feel like using it. (+4)

With most spells/moves you can train it till you hit a barrier where you stop receiving additional points, this is simply due the lack of knowledge about specific mechanics of the spell/combo. This barrier will be usually at Journeyman Tier, but it can occur at earlier tiers with more difficult spells/combo's.

To advance any further, one has to search for a mentor and/or books about specific subjects which you will need to keep receiving additional skill points. The required knowledge will be shown when you stumble upon such a skill barrier.

ONLY female, as males are hostile to anyone expect their species. Top half is female and bottom half is cow, they walk on 2 legs on their hooves.

• Demon kin

Humans which have a connection to demons, they have small horns, red eyes and pitch black hair. They aren't evil however.

Small bio Optional, but helps me with writing up lore and text which your character says based on your characters point of view.)

My Rtd uses the Empyrean Coins. This name doesn't matter that much as it can and will be changed freely in this RTD by different races. In this mechanic there are 4 coins, varying from the highest value to lowest value.
If you are exchanging a valuable coin for a less valuable coin then do x 10 to get the amount of coins you receive of the less valuable coin, and do :10 if you are exchanging less valuable coins for more valuable coins. This will be done automatically by the GM.

These are the 4 coin types that can be found in this system.

• Crystal-lings: Coins made out of valuable gems and/or crystals.
• Gold-Lings: Coins made out of Gold.
• Silver-Lings: Coins made out of Silver
• Bronze-lings: Coins made out of bronze

In the game there are few coin systems or trade systems. You have to get familiar with them in the game.

4. FLUID TIME MECHANIC. This is an interesting concept I found somewhere on a role playing forum which fixes the travel time problem. In this RTD you will often travel around cities, lairs or other places. It will be extremely boring to write how you travel from point A to B. That is why I will introduce this mechanic. It works like this.

Imagine that you have to travel to a fisher village which is 2 turns away from your current location, so you start travelling and this is where the strange part kicks in. Imagine now that your character can be in 2 locations at once, Instance A is travelling, Instance B is in its previous location.

During the travel time you can control Instance B of your character which is in the previous location (Village before you departed to the fisher village), to do a variety of things in that place. Like hunting, drinking, crafting, etc. This will fill the gap of empty travel time and earn you some skill points or items! HOWEVER!!

Once every 2-3 turns in the travel time I will roll an encounter-roll which follow these rules. This encounter roll will happen with Character instance A.

• Very Bad encounter.
• Bad encounter.
• No encounter (Journey continues)
• Normal encounter.
• Good encounter.
• Very good encounter.

When this occurs you will start talking with somebody.

This can be for various reasons, but this only happens for major events. So random people will not active this. In this mode you will discuss with your target NPC about your mission rewards, quests, knowledge or to convince him into doing something, etc. This will be done trough Quicktopic, if more players are in this mode and they happen to be in the same area talking to the same character they will have the option to join the conversation as long as they aren't forced to.

This organisation has existed since the dawn of time, all races had once their small monster hunter group. But it was until the 3rd Era that the races have decided to rally all the monster hunters under one organisation and one home. Castle Volikmar, one of the biggest castles in the empire. Designed by dwarves and gnomes and build by orcs, humans and demon-kin. This behemoth of an a castle functions as the primary base of the monster hunters, but there are various bases set up all trough the lands.

During the same time, astro-mages have discovered an certain technique which enabled them to track special individuals who possess what we call "Soul affinity". Which means that, your very own soul can changed to accept magical powers. Most people who do not have this aren't able to conjure magic without the use of scrolls,totems or any other magical catalyst. In the past people discovered this by accident, but there were also lots that didn't discover their power. Needless to say, their power was lost.

That's why nowadays we got seekers, they scour the lands to find these individuals and ask them to join the Monster hunters. Because of certain laws, you are obliged to join the monster hunters once you are discovered and at least 13 years of age. Most often this is not a problem as this is a big honor and the tales of legendary hunters aspire lot's of people to join the hunters.

The primary purpose of the  Monster Hunters organisation is to keep the citizens of these lands safe from true-monsters which want to harm them. But in the time of war, they are the vanguard unit of all races. They are the ones which stand at the front, paving the way for the rest. They are the heroes of the legends.
