Luka donates both his actions to the Department of Mortal Affairs. By Luka's reckoning, no God actually wears a hat, making mortals the superior creatures by default. Furthermore he donates the Hat of Creation to the department, insuring that they will have the power to remain independent from Godly affairs including the ability to reject Gongon as their patron (given that he is a cause of no small amount of trouble to mortal kind).

"You know what, never mind.  The others are probably waiting on me.  I hope to return with more funds."

With that, he leaves and returns to the group, figuring he's already been gone too long.

The artificer (he was an artificer it was him) returns to his work.

By some miracle you make it back to the inn. Everyone else is sitting around waiting for you.

A

IF WE HAD HIGHER LEARNING WE WOULD KNOW IT WAS THE TASTIEST IN THE MULTIVERSE!

Luka creates a new Common Artifact: A Ten Gallon Cowboy hat that grants whatever creature wears it mortal-level intelligence. Said intelligence is lost if they take the hat off. He throws it down to whatever creature would look the most adorable wearing it (1 Hat action, 1 Skull action).

“Shit… You know any artificers? If the Heating element is out, you wouldn’t happen to have like duct tape, would you?”

"Know a bunch. None work for cheap."

You recall that this is an artificer workshop, a place where artificers work. You realize that the welding mask on his face is a tool that artificers use to protect themselves while working. You had witnessed the man working on an artificer device upon your arrival. Could this man perhaps be talking of himself?

"Yeah. I got tape."

To remind me what my goals are:

Quote
The Golden Orb believes that the Adversary can be defeated by igniting the passion within its heart, or possibly removing its heart. The Mer-Maids, when queried about this hypothetical opponent, suggest that it be awakened to the illusory nature of time and motion, thus neutralizing it. The Noble Stone suggests that if it is sufficiently strengthened, it will be able to protect all that is from destruction. The Torch of Esta believes that if things are placed far enough away from the Adversary they will be safe because to reach them it first has to travel half the distance, then half the remaining distance, then half the remaining distance of that, and so on.

WealthyRodent II the Seller suggests bribery or a lot firepower. The Mop-Maids are pretty sure that ultimately all resistance it futile, and one should just go with the flow, but in the mean-time you can make pretty rivers and ponds and stuff. The birds don't understand the question. The more animals only respond with meaning devoid rumbles and screeches. The zombies suggest infecting the Adversary.

The last idea seemed to work, so CleanU creates another two set of maids to fight the Adversary!

First is the Unmaid, a group of zombies commissioned into cleaning and infecting those who they infect with the desire to clean. In addition to their cleaning duties, they're to attempt to infect the Adversary with the maid strain of the zombie virus.

Second is the Medical Aid Including Dusting (MAID), a group of maids who double as certified doctors cleaning their patients from all diseases. They are tasked with surgically removing the Adversary's heart, in addition to offering medical aid to those in need.

“Yes.  Air supply.  Preferably one that is isolated from the air outside.  Additionally, it ideally shouldn’t impair my mobility, and a heating element so I can repair it if it tears.”

"They're are cheaper ways to blow yourself up kid. Those are both individually dangerous things that go together like fire and oil."

He scratches the back of his head.

"Well I can sell you the rubber but if you arn't an artificer I don't think you'll get too far on your uh...personal gear."

Howling Gates, Unquenched. The hat must remain above all.

Luka takes three three aligned Hat actions, adding them to his usual Hat and Skull action to create the first Grand Artifact, the Hat of Creation. Said hat resembles Luka without his divine organs, which is to say it looks like a fairly normal hat. Said hat is said to give Mortals the power to create things as if they where Divine Beings so long as they are wearing the hat on their head equivalent. (4 Hat actions 1 Skull Action).

Luka then creates the Plane of Hats, a plane encircling the head of the planet as its hat. It looks like Luka without his divine organs barring his googly eyes, which is to say it looks like a normal hat (but with google eyes). When a hat is destroyed on the mortal realm, it is said that its soul enters the Plane of Hats to find eternal rest on a comfy hat stand. (Free)

Gongon screeches horrible agony and anger. All their motile planar motors and spatial flippers rip free from their flesh in an angry buzzing swarm, targeting something which never was.

Gongon trades 1 locomotion to Yitterbium in exchange for Chaos and Flesh and a promise of more Chaos and Flesh in the immediate future (tick2). Should chaos and flesh not be to provided for some reason, the sacrificed locomotion is instead used in the construction of the Anti-Oracle.

Gongon sacrifices their remaining locomotion.

Gongon uses 1 Chaos, 1 Flesh, 1 Sanity and 1 Ignorance to create the Anti-Oracle, an Oracle who provides no answers, but only murders and devours other Oracles-to-Be.

Chaos Flesh, Sanity and Ignorance condense into a horrible moon of mountainous noses, ears and dragonfly eyes, continuously moving around and scanning for prey to devour, rarely resting on the Heavenly Signal Tower between its hunts.

(I think Oracle specifically required an eye-equivalent to be sacrificed)

"Airtight clothing, preferably something that covers my whole body, allows me to transform in it, and comes with it's own air supply that can be toggled on and off." He says.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to pry into your....personal life.....Wait did you say air supply?"

Ethan nods politely and repeats, "Thank you for your time."

He nods back and closes the door as the group returns to the upper inn.

Then I will buy some rubber, and follow the group

You immediately rush out the inn without explaining to anyone where or why you are going. Running about the dirt roads in confusion you eventually wonder upon an artificer workshop. It is poorly organized, appearing to be more of a junkyard than a functional workshop with tools and supplies littered about a stone building haphazardly. The shop owner, a Tien man in a welder's mask, is currently working on some metal lump that is no doubt an artificer creation beyond your comprehension.

You ask him for rubber. He stops working and asks you what you want the rubber for.
