Flight Command is interesting, what would that do?

And sure then, unless someone's against it I think jumping back to the Eldar base to deliver the statues should be safer.

Name and what it does are negotiable, Flight Commander (Master of Attack Craft?) would give something like +5 to Attack Craft rolls, something more specific might give +10 roll more specific rolls. This could be something that gives +10 to Follow My Lead! rolls, or a more mechanically inclined position that gives a bonus to recovering craft after a battle.

It's the cautious choice, Though there is a serious question of why Mr. Harlequin didn't simply let us send them with him. However, in a perfect world, we can turn over the statues and look into the requirements necessary to recruit some of the Eldar Strike Craft. I mean, even if they're incompatible with our Jovian-pattern bays, they can almost certainly make use of the Lathe-pattern ones.

The Jester is still on your ship, or at least has a place on your ship where he is designated to be. You are free to stuff them all in his room if you want.

You can use your Acquisition to try and get Eldar Strike Craft if you want. I'd put them at Extremely Rare.

Continue waiting for the orders, and probably also the next explosion. Those seem to be pretty common.

but a fire would kill us all quick
except for any dragons that might be present.

You know what I'm going to do. The movement speed isn't unreasonable in and of itself, it just means there's really nothing else for me to do as long as a good reason to abandon my post hasn't arisen yet.

It'd probably kill any and all dragons once it detonated those massive shells, unless dragons are explosion proof.

Given our current options are drowning or burning, I think I'll fill in for the nozzleman. This massive ship should take forever to sink but a fire would kill us all quick, and I'm better suited for muscle work than leadership duty.

What do you think, Spin? Master Helmsman has a pretty nice bonus but seems it might be the most appropriate choice.

Also where's this mysterious Discord server? :p

We could also make something new like say, Flight Commander if he wanted to go all in on small craft.

I meant niche bonus, not nice bonus. Oh well. And it depends on whether you want to lead strike squads during combat actions. If you do, then small craft specialization is worth it because it's basically our way of causing damage, plus it means better piloting of personal shuttles. Otherwise, big ship spec.

How far away is the nearest Eldar post? It's probably worth it making it back to it to deliver the statues, since even if they're dormant I don't want to risk anything happening.

The only one you personally know about is the one you jumped from.

Get up and check what equipment is left, hopefully the whole ship isn't on fire already.

"...How can any of us sleep? I envy these ignorant creatures."

Weren't we going to go deliver these statues first rather than mash them into warpland right away?

I have no idea, you guys kinda talked about it but that was in OOC.

Where would you like to set a course to?

"I'll be guiding us on a warp journey. I recommend keeping your collective head down if you wish to keep it."

"Goodnight"
"We will slumber then."
"The Warp? You're really bring us to the Warp!?"
"If she comes for our souls destroy us."
"How can I sleep knowing that he is after me?"
"Sweet dreams."

The lights begin to fade, both in your head and in the real world as the statues begin to lose their glow. They are now dormant. You detect little to no psykic energy from the still beautiful sculptures.

You fail to determine the time it would take for a Warp journey to Merilia. As you do not see the light of the Corpse Emperor and you the briefing suggests the area is known for Warp Storms, even a quick journey may prove very dangerous.

We should avoid making things more confusing for no reason, since I can't tell what is going on anymore >_>

The new room should have the two new clones, for the people who didn't have any before, hiding in the new boxes. One of them rustles and the clones who arn't occupied elsewhere go over to investigate. Then the two clones can give exposition on "what happened here" later.

I never updated Rouri's sheet since it is an excel file and that is a pain :V. He needs a ship role too, you can give him one in-character since he just showed up. He's actually a Void Master as far as mechanics go, not a Rogue Trader.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Go ahead and commune with the world spirit in the statues. Preferably from somewhere safe like the navigator's sanctum.

You enter the Navigator tower, your sanctuary on the ship with much more cat beds and fewer decorative skulls than the typical Imperial sanctum. If you have any actual cats this is probably where they spend there time, safely away from your dragon pet that may mistake them for a snack. Here you follow the example of the last Eldar that communed with the World Spirit.

You find yourself in the Void, the light of the stars and sun of this world as a backdrop. Before you is a gestalt of souls. At first they seem chaotic, with spirits moving at random in a bright ball of light, but the longer the look the more you find a pattern emerge. You see a face appear, then a full head, composed of countless whirling souls. The end result looks something like an Eldar made from light pouring through mist, wearing a long robe of starlight.

A million voices begin to speak to you in your native tongue. Inconveniently they speak not as one, but each soul speaks with its own voice. Their message is the same with different wording. Some polite, some rude, some urgent, some relaxed, some worried, some calm, with the subtlety of the Eldar language allowing for a full spectrum of tone a human tongue could not hope to grasp. It takes you little effort to discern the voices from one another.

"What is it that you want?"
"Why do you disturb us"
"Thank you for freeing us, the sooner I'm away from those humans the better."
"Don't let the Dead Emperor devour us. I don't trust these mon-key."
"The agents of the greatest pervert are much worse..."

Start Warp preparations.

Your men prepare for Warp jump, moving all the mechanisms in place and performing the proper sermons and rituals. Prayer blasts over your speaker systems to insure the safety of everyone's souls, while your house guards ready tier weapons and shields at the designated checkpoints to insure the safety of everyone's bodies.

You have a new pilot - Rouri - who will likely steer better than you (especially if you are watching close and providing advice on the idiosyncrasies of your ship), but it is ultimately up to you who guides the Ark Royal through the Warp. You are prepared to jump when the Eldar gives the word.

If it hardly matters, I'll go to the nearest one while the adrenaline wakes me up. Hopefully I haven't been out long enough for the ship to sink on us.

If someone passes by shouting something like "Hey, get out of there, man!" I'll reply something like "Aye Aye sir!" and get out of there, man.

If they have guns, that means players can probably loot them.

We just let a player shoot magic wind they can have guns

The imps have guns, obviously.

Dream about shore leave, that one island we visited where they mix rum and soda. Fireworks light up the night sky at the beach, the smell of roast pork in the air. All your worldly troubles fade when you fall asleep!
