Well, I am talking to an attractive young woman I know, and I should probably flirt with her, but I just... Why?
Because attractive young woman?
Of course though, you're not obligated to flirt. There's no point if you're not going to enjoy it.

I think. Honestly, I'm still fuzzy on the concept of flirting.

James Rolfe doesn't update fast enough. Neither does Doug Walker. Northernlion has nothing interesting. Youtube a shit.
Yeah, that's been driving me up the wall too.
JonTron's uploaded 2 videos in the last week.
Only person I watch on that list is Northernlion, actually. It applies to most of the other LPers I watch, though.

people who are actually gifted tend to underachieve because fuck getting ahead of the others it's a horrible bother and then you've got unrealistic expectations slapped on you as a label, and if you screw up just once you'll get an incredible amount of shit flying your way (and trust me, you will screw up)
Yup, I'm one of these "gifted" students. I could do pretty well if I applied myself the way other people do, but I'd much rather just coast at the level of everyone else. Because seriously, fuck that. I don't want people to expect miracles from me. I don't want people to think I'm stupid or lazy, but I also don't want to be held up to some kinda level.
It's a fine balance, but I think I'm doing it well. The key is using words that are big enough other people wouldn't use them in conversation, but not so big they don't understand.

Also, letting test and quiz grades balance out the homework I don't do.

I was (well, still kinda am) like that until it started to screw me over in the long run - I didn't have to study, I'd just write the test and get an A/B.

Then I got lifted a year, stuff started getting difficult and I pretty much got stranded with zero skill at learning.
Yup. That's why I'm content to perform below what I'm technically capable of.

The secret is actually me.

I am used in all the best chilies.

I just chill in the pot for a few hours and it's ready to go.
So, lube and sugar?

Virgin America has tried to spice up their safety guidelines. Funny, but there are so many WTFs here I just had to share. Bit over the top too: I liked the nice, simple safety card in the pocket!
If you watched the video you would know that there still is a safety card in the pocket.

Still, that was hilarious.
I did watch it, but I think that in addition to the card, it's too much, in my opinion.
Sorry, what? I know I try too hard sometimes hard, but...

I've mentioned this before, but I've found that I'm actually pretty funny most times. Mostly when I say things off the top of my head, without really thinking much. Luckily, I'm not someone who thinks offensive things, so that's not a problem. I probably get annoying sometimes though.

EDIT: By this, I don't mean "random access humor". RAH seems really pointless and unfunny to me, personally. What I mean is more "banter" and so on. Y'know, those witty comebacks that you think of five minutes after the conversation? They tend to come to me before anything else I could say.
EDITEDIT: I just realized I used a term from the CWCiki. Thanks, whoever posted that link earlier. My vocabulary is enhanced.

I've noticed I'm really loud in this one class primarily because I'm trying to impress this one girl. I'm finding I'm a little jealous of one of my friends who sits next to her, which makes me sad. I mean, he already gets on my nerves a little, but I don't need more reasons to not want to sit next to him in the next class.

But they have such classy accents! How could hate them?
Nonononono. Cockney is not classy.
No offense to any of y'all who talk with a cockney accent. There've been studies though, and apparently cockney is the least trusted of the British accents. Excepting Irish, of course.

Believe it or not, human interaction is the highlight of many people's existences :P It's certainly high tier in mine.
Yeah, I noticed most of my emotion thread posts were related to human interaction, and not Borscht like everyone else.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

That sounds valid to me, but I don't know the history behind that. I just know it's a commonly used symbol for good luck in the East. Or, it was, at the least.

It was used in Europe and the Americas a fair bit though, if I remember correctly. Then Hitler ruined it, just like the "Chaplin".

Why have I not heard of this before?
This video treats me like an idiot. No need for the patronising fearmongering. Just say what's going on really it's not that hard.
But if they don't patronize us, how will they tell us what to think?

Other slugs?
