Could we start it and have the pilot space-jump back? And crash the ship for sure? And wouldn't the drone notice the pilot "space-jumping?" I'm pretty sure it's either flee or fight and then flee at this point. There are other scrapyards out there, possibly less protected than this. Hell, we might be able to sell one of the ships and get fuel and repairs at an actual port.
What, crashing into asteroids? No, getting shot by the drone.
Just re-read your first post...You don't need to have the corpse in your hand, it can just lie on the ground, maybe that's it...This, from my experience.
Come on already, guys, stop trying to kill us before we even got out of the starting area!Right, let's just is tight and wait for the drone to inspect the ship.
why fly shuttle to town if we can fly our cruiser? I say salvage the shuttle after the run, if we need it we may repair it laterIn theory, a smaller ship would be more efficient, requiring less fuel. Also, we don't want to make it obvious we need parts for a beat up ship. Actually, are we allowed to have this thing? Wouldn't finding it in the scrapyard make it stolen, if we aren't allowed to be scavenging in it?
As for what we look for
1) comfort and life support, crew should be happy and healthy
2) medical equipment
3) engines\engine parts
4) electronics
5) armor plates
As for what we look forYeah, but I think it should go:
1) comfort and life support, crew should be happy and healthy
2) medical equipment
3) engines\engine parts
4) electronics
5) armor plates
1)Engine\parts\fuelWe want to make sure our ship is able to move, then that it's spaceworthy, then that we won't die horribly from injuries, then work on upgrading the electrical components (it can fly, it just requires manual input, if I'm understanding right). After that we can work on comfort. I don't know if you meant those to be in a specific order, but I feel like clarification can't hurt.
2)Armor
3)Medical Supplies
5)Electronics
6)Comfort
Not really. Does that mean he can only do magic by performing long rituals, or is magically enhances his studying ability, or something else?Well, alchemy is more transmutation than the conventional magic missile or corpse raising or anything. It was pretty much accepted as science before chemistry, even though you can't really make lead into gold. Pretty much, he's more of a scientist than a magician, but if there are really strong magics, he can probably do a few minor ones he's learned from books. But he's not really a powerful magician or anything. Much more reading than rituals. Does that make it clearer, I know what I have in mind, so I may have skipped some important detail or other.
You can take the field-medic side of things and I can take the advanced-medicine side of things. We can tease each other about the things the other can't do. It could be interesting.Sounds like a plan, prof.
Cool. I'll be brief, my window has closed unexpectedly three times now, after I've written my response. Is it possible I could be an advisor to a lord? It's probably explained in the rules, but I don't see anything about advisors, would that be the same as being the leader of an organization? Because all this seems interesting but I don't really want to be a lord of a fief.Yeah, that's perfectly fine. I guess it wasn't explained very well in the rules, but that was the basic idea behind claiming titles without a fief or organization.
