So do I have to constantly update my turn or can I do it more leisurely? What I read so far makes it appear like everyones turns are separate.

(Yay I was wondering what happened to my EP)

Seadain
Now comfortable with their new hosts, the Seadain wished to make their hosts more comfortable.
Begin evolving pheromones to communicate with other Seadain, within a host or without. Seadain within a host secrete pheromones which in turn are excreted by the host, with some delay. Seadain outside a host cannot yet communicate with those within one.

(If all that is not enough EP then instead just start evolving communicative pheromones for other Seadain and neural pheromones for communication with the Garooda.)

I sit the throne on me. Checkmate.

Continue Evolution

Now that the Garooda can venture out of the deeps for a reasonable length of time, start using the massive abominations as a food source. The Garooda will hunt them in pairs for necessity and too stop wounds and injuries from occurring.

How do we gain more EP?

Seadain
As it seemed the Runts and Trapleons were too small to support our life, and with no immediate genetic changes seeming to come about, The next step was a little bigger.... more of a leap.
Observe the Garooda. Note their immobility when consuming prey. While they are immobile, burrow into them and then live inside of them. Each Garooda will not be inhabited by more Seadain than it could support without dying.
You better evolve something to help me or I'm gonna evolve something to kick you out.

We might be useless parasites for now but not forever I promise
I was hoping at least one parasite would actually be a parasite. He can try to kick you out, but you're the parasite already. Easier for you to get in than for him to kick you out, and he has other shit he wants to do too. It's not like they can't take it. The Garooda are bloody huge. Probably be no worse than fleas to them, unless you try to carve them out and live inside or something.

Never said we'll be fully useful either :3

I just bought it, it's pretty fun but optimization needs work, and I have a fairly high-end computer.
Plus, I don't know if the price will scale as it goes. Probably not, but I can't tell you.

Edit: That may have just been the server. Playing singleplayer now and it runs much nicer.

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Re: An all female start

Dwarves have genders???

Yes! You can use this to tell which gender to put in the military. If you have a female in the military they get an additional shield toward their defenses called an "Infant." This shield soaks up stray bolts and attacks for the soldier dwarf! Useful!

Idk if I have enough space left in my signature but if I do this is being sigged.

Is there any open spots? Also, can I slightly invent a creature? It wouldn't be overpowered, just a small newt/lizard/thing with wings type creature (resemble a dragon, scaly, no fire breathing but can fly. Lizard sized)

310
Seadain:
The coming changes to the environment negatively impacted the Seadain. Lacking teeth they were unable to keep up. Slowly the pressure forced changes, and teeth. However, the Seadain were weak, relatively flimsy. They weren't safe out in the open, but they would be within another creature.
With the new teeth, numbers of the Seadain attempt to inhabit local Trapleons and Runts as a survival strategy. If the Runts shell proves too hard for our teeth, then give all our effort to the Trapleon.

Hopefully the Mard can discourage the Seadain from screwing in us, too.))
That should help you more immediately than inter-species communication, and might discourage the Seadain a bit since I don't think they'll be able to eat through fungus.

I guess I should be fair and say that they can eat through soft tissues only (yet :3). As it seems currently, the Mard grows first as a soft tissue then into a harder shell like apparatus, the Seadain could eat through it before it hardens.

Begin evolving burrowing teeth in the mouth, thus enabling the Seadain to scrape away at some slightly tougher tissues, as well as more rapidly chew through soft tissues, where before they just used suction power to slowly tear at the tissue. In such manner they can attempt to go after larger prey, who typically have scales or shells.
Also, attempt to inhabit some of the larger creatures that arrived with the Ironside Krill. If necessary, go after a weaker one.

I cleaned up my app. Could you add me to the list please?
I would like a map.

Name of Race: Seadan (pl. Seadain)
Physical Description: A race of small, fish like symbiotes. They are capable of swimming fairly quickly to escape predators but have poor senses so they can only escape if they manage to notice them. They have no scales or body armor, only soft flesh. They are about 10 centimeters long and 3 centimeters thick, and somewhat resemble a worm. They have small mouths with no teeth but can filter feed or eat soft tissues like algae off stationary objects or other creatures.

Unusual Traits:
Seadain live in small shoals, of between fifteen to forty fish, with a queen at the head. Eggs are laid by the queen but fertilized by any member of the colony.
Seadain are capable of forming symbiotic relationships with almost any creature. They do this by burrowing into it. Lacking teeth they can only burrow into creatures with orifices or wounded creatures with open wounds. Males are capable of laying eggs but can't fertilize them.
When they burrow into a host, their fins atrophy and they wriggle around the hosts body and feed on non-essential tissues. If the Seadain believe their host is dying, they will lay two to three dozen eggs within the body. Upon hatching they consume the organism from the inside out, and at maturity form a new shoal.
Healthy creatures may host generations of Seadain. Seadain will lay eggs, but not enough to kill the organism unless it is dying. Over generations they may form a symbiotic relationship, but this only occurs in very compatible cases.

Location: White Coral Reefs

Man, this makes me remember Starforge, what happened to its development?
But on topic, this game looks... Pretty good, nice lovecraftian monsters near the end there, nice gunplay, looks alright, the fact that the music loops at about 3:32 is annoying me for some insane reason though.
devs ended up abandoning it in an incredibly broken state and went onto develop reign of kings.

I actually didn't know the Starforge devs were making Reign of Kings. I hope they finish Starforge someday...

I'm looking for a good RTS game, the more MMO the better. I'm willing to pay some money but not much (At very most 20$) and preferably no subscription fees.

I'm also interested in an MMO sandboxy type game. Think Minecraft but a global persistent server, and more RPG elements to it.

If you don't mind lack of combat, look up ATITD (A Tale in the Desert). It's free right now, about to start the next "telling".

I think I played that before but kind of was interested. I found without combat I had little to do.
