It only shows when I start the game. It still plays, though, but I'm afraid I might be missing out on some feature.

Running on XP, yes. And this is specific to this pack. I ran the old LNP without issue.

What are the major new additions? Anyone care to run through them for me?

Searchcode "Taylor Swift". (You'd be surprised at how little people say the names of pop stars on these boards.)

Post-worldgen history continuation, complete combat overhaul, complete personality overhaul, complete conversation overhaul in adventure mode, complete tree overhaul (now multi-tile!), dwarf sites in adventure mode, elf sites in adventure mode, goblin sites in adventure mode, new Hidden Fun Stuff in adventure mode, complete movement overhaul, small trading overhaul, complete questing overhaul, complete politics overhaul.

That's off the top of my head.
Now if only they could make adventure mode combat easier.
Or is that what you meant by complete combat overhaul?

You're not the only one that doesn't use burrows. I only make like two and tie them into alerts. That's it.
I don't go all technical with them.

I believe Lucas said he'd get around to ASCII tilesets when (or if) he gets to revamping that tab in the LNP GUI.
Something about how having separate colors schemes for one tileset can make it a bit tougher.
