Yeah that must be a bitch to kill with blunt weapons, but far easier to kill with slicing ones.
if you manage to cut off a segment it bleeds out quickly.

Have you regenerated the world since your last edit? You need to regenerate the world if you have been editing the overall raws instead of the individual save raws.

Does your file have the "creature_xxx" line at the top? What about [OBJECT:CREATURE]? If the file is missing either of these then the game own't read it correctly. Try moving the creature into a different text file and see if that fixes the problem and if it does then one of those two is probably missing or formatted incorrectly.

been doing some testing in the arena, the segments work!
cutting off the third segment doesn't kill it right off (lot of bleeding though) and it gets rid of the fourth to seventh segments.

I made one with 100 legs, this one just has 28 (?).

Although in real life centipedes do only have 28 legs, so nice job. :D
anywhere from 28 to over 300. depending on the species. made it so that it's constantly growing through it's life too.
the really big ones happen after 29 years.

the important thing is that centipedes have an odd number of pairs.
