Nono, sessions are not in frogs, only the home universes of players. The sessions are all within the confines of the Furthest Ring, and every universe is inside a session. When players activate their entry item, they are transported from their universe inside an incipisphere, to their own incipisphere. The green sun exists outside of all of the frogs.

Oh wow. They closed Mabinogi Europe?
I don't think I'll even give them the benefit of caring enough to use a proxy. Unless the USA servers have had their access lifted. But I kind of doubt it. Why did they even do that in the first place anyway?
This makes me sad and possibly having to mingle withe the 'Merikun players. And everyone know USA and Korea are where the hardcore grindfesters live. Yup. I am never going to be able to be any good on the USA servers, if they even let us use those now.

EDIT: Okay, so they lifted the block of Eurpoean players for the N.America servers.
I am still displeased with the nature of this.

If not just on the streets, at least SOMEWHERE besides neatly in parking lots.
It seems strange that everybody had their cars scrapped and swapped in for 50 pairs of fingerless gloves or whatever. If they're not on the streets, they could be at least in compounds or some other place cars go when they're totalled.

Actually, a scrap yard in general, containing vehicles without engines and/or wheels and such. It just looks odd when every few houses has a mechanics magazine, implying it to be a hobby in some way, but there are only cars in communal car parks, and very rarely at that.

Because it has been shown that their planets are called LOPAN, LOTAK and LOMAX(aharharhar).
Where was this? I didn't see the planet names anywhere.
I feel like I keep missing things.

(Extrapolated from the given first letters and following Jane's Crypts and Helium "burial and noble gas" pattern):

Dirk: Land of Pyramids and Neon

Roxy: Land of Tombs and Krypton

Jake: Land of Mausoleums and Xenon

You can extrapolate from the names :P
Could you explain how you worked that out?
That seems more like guesswork than an actual method.

I never really understood how bean weapons can have a range though, if it is a perfect beam with no spread, shouldn't it be effective forever? Unless I forgot something about how light works (which wouldn't be surprising).
So pretty much, missiles are mad OP? Especially when we get Newtonian physics and their range will literally be infinite. I guess I'd best backpedal on my laser research then. Thankfully, I haven't started producing any ships with them on yet, so that's all good.

Aurora Combat = Missiles, heh.
I've noticed this said around a lot.
But why?
What is it about missiles that makes them so vastly superior to other weapons? I would have thought them to be worse. You have a limited supply of them once you launch, they can cause damage if blown up inside your ships, and you need quite high tech to make them go fast enough to not be taken down.
Surely it would be a lot better to have a beam weapon, which cannot be intercepted because lightspeed, has effectively infinite ammo and can be useful at reasonably low levels of research.

How do you fail to "disarm" a spike board? How many times can you accidentally step on a two-by-four with six nails in it while trying to pick it up?
I've been wondering this too. The same goes for every trap apart from I guess bear traps.
How hard is it to not stand in front of a shotgun barrel? Seriously. Or a crossbow.
I know game balance etc, but it kind of makes me wonder if that 11 intelligence actually means the character is clever, or if intelligence actually means 'read books on thon own for thons entire childhood', because that's what it seems like.

I'll throw a vote in for Brightwater then, I found/find it thoroughly enjoyable to read.

13735
Is it a candidate now?
I don't entirely understand the Hall of Legends voting system's workings, is there a limited time it can be voted in or something?

My pet theory is that the ULTIMATE PURPOSE of the game is not the propagation of universes, but facilitating the emotional growth of a bunch of teenagers. The trolls didn't quite manage to learn the True Meaning of Friendship, so Skaia tosses another unkillable endboss at them.
Except trolls don't really make friends so much, being the violent recluses they are. The closest we've seen to actual friends under normal circumstances are Viska with Equius, and some of the ancestors too. The ancestors were mostly together because of fighting other people, and Vriska and Equius were both trying to backstab each other.
Is SBURB on the other hand is designed to have the players conform to OUR idea of friendship and acceptance and all that, then it's design is inherently racist to the extreme. Also, if that's the point of the game, how could the squiddle session fail? And why did scratching for the trolls create a MORE violent universe? Surely if that game is won by love and acceptance, why have both instances we've seen of a scratch caused the players to grow up in a more hostile and dangerous environment?

MrHappy is one of the guys who show up once in a while on these forums and ends up being enlightened in his own way is all. He is on his dream journey so to speak if that is more relateable except in waking internet form. Also how the hell do you spell relateable? The spellchecker doesn't recognize it and the grammatical security my robot teacher provides is reassuring.
Relatable is pretty much wrong anyway. It means that you can relate that thing. What should really be said is relate-to-able or something.
It's like reliable, that doesn't make much sense as a word either.

There IS a tileset. Although its not completely finished.
/narrowed eyes
We don't talk about THOSE around here...

Even then, he says that static tile-based graphics are "not really a game".

I say we should leave without those holes. Holes are not desirable unless they're in somebody else.
If the vehicle wasn't a pickup packed with zombies, then we could pretend to belong here. But really? This isn't going to work.

If there's a way of getting Snowflake some nice suit or somesuch, we could probably pass him off as military.

I feel your pain bro.
He's not even obsessed with graphics or anything, but he seems to have some problem with not being able to instinctively recognise what something is and how it works.
It's kind of frustrating when people refuse something based on the fact that they don't want to take time to learn.

Then I remember that I'm having more fun on Cataclysm than he is on Oblivion, so it's all cool.
