Roll To Dodge / Re: Escape the dungeon Turn 24 - Resting time
« on: March 31, 2009, 12:26:18 pm »
"So what was I doing down here again..." I say to myself, once again scratching my beard.
"Ah yes. What with my here dungeon taken over by those whippersnappers I was gone and forced to use my secret escape route jus' ahead, wherein you came from." I recollect aloud, then promptly eye Kel curiously, "Say, what in Armokation is your sort doin' down here in my here scrappy-yard anywho?"

This dialect is hard, but amusing.

That's okay. Real life comes first.

But on a relevant topic, what's wrong with being a gaudy 500 year old pimp?

When stepping into the (mysteriously already lit) secret room, it can be seen that I'm wearing a purple dyed Ξspider silk vestΞ over a *zebra leather shirt*, purple dyed Ξspider silk pantsΞ, a purple dyed +wide brimmed hat+ encircled with bands of zebra leather and encrusted with a giant eagle feather sticking out of it, along with some midnight blue dyed Ξspider silk shoesΞ. Additionally, there's an artifact amulet around my neck in the shape of the male symbol. It menaces with spikes of mojo.

"Oh, the I had here with the ladies back when. They always found them their dungeons so exciting. Mm-mmm!" I say with a wide grin as I search the party supplies for some masterwork booze to put into one of the golden goblets.
Something about that amulet of Kel seems to be putting a damper on the whole party scene, though...

"Now if'n I recall..." I say, scratching a short and well-kept graying beard and seeming completely oblivious to Kel's departure, "I done and left some good food in the secret passage to the room you've gonehere collapsed."
I promptly begin feeling around the rock wall for that door to the secret tunnel. Or was it on the opposite side of the wall? I can't really remember.

Edit: Dang typos.

For my next turn, I shall join!

Though something tells me I need a penguin avatar to properly fit in.

It is clear that it was a vampire gnome, and he sucked the booze right out of the dwarf.

A. Including repeatedly taking a goblin down by some silly part of the body, like his fifth toe.

Left foot.

Edit: Bonus points if you don't use your upper limbs.
Edit2: Bonus points if you actually know how to use your legs to grapple. I just realized some people may not.

That was an awesome dragon fight. I'm looking forward ot using this mod in my adventures.

You lash The elf Drunk in the upper body with your tail!
It is broken!
The elf Drunk's liver has been broken!

He was dead right there, all the rest of the fight was just beating a moving corpse.   :p

This is a superior moon crystal ring. It is encircled with green particle effects. It menaces with spikes of blue laser. On the item is an image of a dwarf and an elven space shuttle in holographic energy trans-microcrystal glass. The dwarf is shooting down the elven space shuttle. The elven space shuttle is screaming.

I can confirm both, I've had many ambushing adventurers and stoneworks who were almost legendary and then went fey. Both are correct.

Peasents enjoy a good wrestle with the local wildlife, but sometimes the wildlife takes it too far.

This will get more interesting when you find a goblin fortress right next to a chasm. Believe me.

I fear that in real life.

I think you should just retire him. Go to any town-square, and just hit the escape key. Your character will be ready for play whenever you like afterwards with all his (held) belongings. Supposing he doesn't die from an outside source.

It used to be that if you axe off the artifact holder, and stuff the artifact in the trade depot and bail, the artifact would be retrievable since items don't leave buildings. However, that was back in ye olde 2d version. No idea if it's the same now.
