Oh lordy Shooer, I swung by your place and that mining throne sure is something. You should park it in a marketplace somewhere to troll people. :P

How heavy was that last load of yours Shooer? I tried moving 80 tons of stuff and crashed into Alioth at 15,000 km/h, big derp on my part for not decelerating in time.

Oh and I'm Croquantes in game, at Lat -21 Lon 167

So I subscribed, what's everyone doing? I think I've outgrown Sanctuary but don't know what do. Anyone have territory on Alioth I can squat on and build a hut?

I have to say, I am having so much more fun with warfare than in any other paradox title.
I was a huge fan of Europa Universalis: Rome, mostly because of the combat, and it's why I love Imperator as well. Maybe I'm a masochist, but I like the work needed to get the right resources you need for the units you want and just how much army composition affects attrition and how those two mechanics come together to create a new experience.

With the right armies, you can definitely punch above your weight class and it feels great when you win wars in your neighbourhood and all your neighbours can do is sit and grumble.

This looks good and all but... Is there gonna be a stronghold mechanic? I'm a sucker for that in games, and it kinda sucked in Pillars of Eternity.

I was making good progress with a character, made it to day 12 which is different for me as I usually die on the second or third day. I may have been abusing NPCs and treating them like fodder but I did keep most of them alive. Found some skill books, was starting to skill up my character decently....

Then the game crashed and I lost my character. I haven't had the heart to open the game back up since the crash, I'm just so broken over it. Not to mention I'm kinda terrified now of the game crashing on me as it's never crashed before this. Why you treat me like this Cataclysm?

Maybe I'll just wait for the new IWBUMS release for Project Zomboid. New area has been added along with vehicles. Plus, when that game crashes I don't lose everything >_<

Kind of a mix between modded Minecraft and maybe Planet Explorers? You can set up automated production and mining, with conveyers and everything. You can also build your vehicles like Planet Explorers.

It's decent, but there's no multiplayer yet. They've started adding on structures so the world will feel a lot less lonely than it did when it first launched though.

Well, I bought a Founders Pack ages ago, and figured now would be a good time to sit down and play the game for realsies since it's released. Turns out that as of TODAY there's a new bug that makes it impossible to create a new character, any character created causes an infinite black loading screen and it uses up the name but they don't show up on your character list.

FML

All the meta-game around trading sounds super cool too, like a fantasy EVE online.

Is there a cheat sheet I can look at to find out the parts/steps needed to make the different guns and ammunition? It'd be nice to have one for growables too, I keep forgetting what plants are needed to process other plants.

It works for me. Is the charcoal in your stockpile?

Yeah I played a couple alphas ago, and I was surprised at how much the game has improved. I'm really into the combo of survival/minecraft/zombies that the game has, and I spend waaay too much time building bases and not enough time killing zombies.

I feel like I'm being picky, but I just can't find a good server. The official ones are wastelands full of walls and random furniture, and the unofficial ones are x25 everything or they're whitelisted. What do I do?

I found a server that I've settled down on. It's not too old, about 270 days so far so the landscape isn't littered with player objects and there's still stuff to loot in the cities.

IP is: 64.92.125.29 Port:26900

Anyone playing? I know Alpha 16 is coming up, but I've been having a blast so far. I've found random servers to be kinda ugly, full of half-demolished structures and not much loot. Would be nice to play multiplayer with some fellow dorfs. :D
