Fine, I guess we won't weaponize the toner...

In the very least, see how weak the metal bars are. If the ends are crush-able, make the end flat or twisted into a point for a more effective edge, and grab another because pliability equals weakness.

Hey. Use that piece of paper to cover up the open toner, and attach it to a metal pole. Jab someone in the face with it and they'll be out a while, but we could lose the AoE...

Nikolai follows along with the majority of the group. He also swings his metal bar a bit to get the feel for it.

All of the current mech games make you the pilot, inside the mech.

I say bleh.

I want a kind of game where you can control armed drones- either in a military or "sport" setting, with-
Multiple types of parts, like heads having different cameras that work differently, etc.
Weapon customization, such as being able to purchase modifications
Parts customization as above
Such as you had a generic head, like a UHD-1
You could buy different attachments, like modules, cameras, etc
Let's say you bought for it a large antenna for radar capabilities and a high-powered camera.
Your Head would change names to UHD/C-1 LR, if it was keeping up with the theme, or "UHD Orion-LR". LR is long range, for the camera.

So with the massive ability for parts and weapons to be changed, you could potentially get away with a bank of maybe 12 parts for each category minimum if each one has enough mods.

Basically, I want a fully customizeable mech game with a few new mechanics.

I've been thinking a little about farm mods- most of this is definitely something to be tackled in the caravan arc, but here goes nothing...

Foxbeard hand selects his minicrew out of whomever looks the fastest, and looks about for some form of cutlass- aiming for a light sword with good reach, really. A trader has tough standards.

"Listen up, if you want to work under me, stand over there. I'm only taking a small group of ye, and my only requirement is that ye be faster'n a schooner in a windstorm. Pay's good enough, I suppose. Don't mind the tails, I ain't be the chef in these parts.

Now get in a line and run to the bow 'n back, the first 6 or so to make it get the jobs.

Nikolai also looks for anything to arm his crew with, preferring blades over firearms for their simplicity and speed. A stick would be better than a crude gun, but a fancy flintlock might get nabbed- a trader has to look his best.

How big's the clip? I say if we have two bullets to spare we give it to the best shot... Bulletproof vest to that person too.

Nikolai looks around for anything to weaponize- he had been hoping to use the cigarettes for toner lighting, but that's out.
Nikolai also looks for a way out that involves the least getting shot at.

Check the guards for some smokes.
Also see if any of them have keyrings or maps.
See if their clothes fit... we don't need their underwear.
