Alright the question train has came to a complete stop
just one thing I am having trouble doing

1. Is it possible to have a creature that is mounted on a horse that he is connected to? Since my idea was to make a secret that involves being blood bounded to a dark horse and if the horse dies the rider dies so why not make it connected?

Ok so I decided to start on a very small mod working on making new secrets so adventure mode is not so dull so just a quick question
Is there a way to restrict a race from obtaining certant secrets? I understand not aging works but anything else?

Depending on how long the city was in place the lag is due to the amount of objects scattered plus the bunch of people living grouped up together

Ahahah! I literally just came back for some DF-ing and remebered this thread, searched, and BAM, updated less than a month ago WITH PROGRESS.

You my friend are getting somewhere. I assume you intend to continue with some stuff? Will be very useful to set exactly who is who's friend etc. for story driven forts.

In my advice shopping is useless in this version just go to a human fortress or a keep and loot it for the items you need its free an has good copper/bronze/iron stuff you need unless you are a dwarf but in my version dwarves make fortresses beside mountainhomes

Even though this should be in the fortress forum what I do is
If the guy has 7 or more of a type of skill he works in that skill if its lower then he gets sent as a hauler if he has a high combat skill instant draft into the military for training
