Yeah, I asked that question before; it would be cool to have a demonically possessed dwarf/human/elf that dropped a live version when you "exorcised" it.

Or headcrab zombies that drop their headcrabs sometimes on death.

O_O Those hornet-language words are long enough to make even the simplest of names scroll off the edge of the screen. Artifacts and custom names should make us mammals whimper--is THAT why you disabled civs?

Heh. If you made a weapon that used the Extract_Strand skill, you could forge one, have someone train with it, and pump them up to be really fast at getting you that adamantine.  :D

Well hey, a more common metal that uses the strand extraction techniques would be great training for dwarves who are going to be working with adamantine later.

Fix for that: Make Prock's value equal to that of iron.

Played as this in adventure mode, works quite nicely.  Everyone freezes very quickly if you're on top them, however they'll take a little longer to freeze if you're just near them.  When I went into fresh water, I got encased in ice, killing me instantly.

I've removed [FLIER] on them (although I had no troubles with it, you could add it back on again).

Also, I think it would be better if they weren't [FIREIMMUNE] as well.

Hmm, why would being encased in ice kill a creature with [NOBREATHE]? It *should* just paralyze or something. Also, if you can freeze from a tile away, you can just sit until the water near you freezes, then go and walk on it. Repeat like Kirby with the Ice ability.

Well, you could take something common like granite and copy over the line that allows you to extract adamantine threads from it, from the entry on raw adamantine.

Spaceships would have to be made of adamantine. It's the only thing light and strong enough. And if it can keep demons confined, it's also airtight enough.

Makes sense to make glass out of sugar--you can do that in the real world too. They use it for movie sets where someone's going to go through a plate glass window. But it has a tendency to warp quickly, so you have to use it fresh.

Just add all the characteristic tags of adamantine that make it so awesome (eg. 500% damage/protection, 300x value) to every other metal. Zing, your wish is granted.

Yeah, I got in trouble in elementary school for binary counting to 132 in front of a teacher. That was actually how I found out that hand gestures can make people angry. My mom didn't punish me because I had no idea what it was, then she taught me so I would know not to do it again. Now I avoid counting to 132 at people unless I intend to be rude to them.  :D

Or find an alternate method of counting on fingers. Heck, when I was little I learned a method (think it was called Chisanbop or something weird like that) that lets you count from 0 to 9 on one hand, thus allowing you to use one hand per digit and count to 99 on your hands. Or 9999 if your feet are agile.

Toady One, are you TRYING to delay my mod till the end of time?!  :D

(in case I didn't say anything about it before, I'm trying to make a mod inspired by Armok's Hornet mod, that introduces a new civ with a new language as well as bunches of other foxes to compete with Toady's gibbons. I'm serious, I have everything from fennecs and crab-eating foxes and hoary foxes, to [GOOD] and [EVIL] aligned critters and magma-dwelling fiery foxes (not called firefoxes so as to distinguish them from red pandas))
