Mayhap Zork, or one of the follow-ups?"Engraved on the wall is a picture of a human and a yellow cyborg. The cyborg self-destructs. The human explodes in gore."</STRONG>
Yup, Zork II had a sequence where you introduce a dragon to a glacier. The dragon thinks its reflection is another dragon, and in its attempt to engage said reflection in mortal combat, melts the glacier and drowns.

That wasn't a hint, that was all but the answer!!
My latest offering didn't get answered yet, so I suppose a similar hint is in order.
This is an engraving on an obsidian wall of a sword and a battery-powered brass lantern. The sword is glowing. The lantern is dark. The grue is striking down the adventurer.

Yeah, I went there. For those who don't want to click a link:
"This is an engraving of a cube and a dwarf. The dwarf is raising the cube. The dwarf is making a plaintive gesture. The cube is burning. The cake is withering away."

But the general principle holds, I would be very disappointed if elven forest retreat mode does not differ AT LEAST 250 different kinds of trees, adding to that hundreds of other plants and similar things.</STRONG>
Dwarves have hundreds of different words for rock. Elves have hundreds of different words for trees. Yetis have hundreds of different words for glacial ice. Who's the wiser?

True; nobles marry whoever the hell they like. Or even multiple consorts. (I forget which thread it was, but I recall it's in the Bug Reports forum.)
