[Not to be rude, Zanzetkuken, but my character didn't like your meddling LAST week, when you were still in charge of the dragons' armies and torched the countryside just for fun and to punish tiny kobolds for insulting you telepathically.]
Ah yes, the end of my reign, before my character realized that corruption was affecting him.

Eric heard one of the most hideous sounds of his life coming from right behind him; the sound of the overzealous, hot-headed, double-crossing double-traitor and murderer of the nth degree, Zanzetkuken, asking to speak to him. No doubt to brag once again about how aweome he felt in all his supernatural glory. This was going to be painful, and possibly lethal if he still remembered what Eric had said the night of the cyborg invasion, or that he'd locked them all outside for 12 hours.

"What is it?" He said with a snarl, scowling at his ☼pond turtle roast, ♂☼.

"Did you know I was no longer Grand Emporer of the civilization?  I want that in your mind when I tell you this next fact.  The masters of that civilization are about to launch an assault upon this fort.  A condition for helping HappyFace escape from the citadel was to bring refugees with him to be sheltered in the microline tower.  Those refugees knew that the masters were becoming corrupt by an unknown force.  They needed out.  That force does not like that.  It is having the masters sending a siege here.  We had better prepare for the incoming siege.  And just so you know, they will not leave until every single being here is dead."

overzealous - when?
double-crossing double-traitor - when?
brag - I don't brag.
hot-headed - red mana effect
locked them all outside for 12 hours - don't really care about that
murderer of the nth degree - a little harsh, since they were kobolds, and I only gave the orders.

WHEN they attack, I am going to fight with the fort, and probably cause a revolution against the masters.

Zanzetkuken approached Eric Blank in the dining room.

"I need to speak to you.  There is some knowledge that you need to know about something that is coming."

[At least that wasn't vague or anything.]

Don't forget that white, for me, is OOC.  I like to just say it instead of blundering along.

I put up the bug-fix for my mod that fixes what I listed before.

Bug-fix up.

All I can say is that the dragon civ is on the move, and preparing to attack. Remember:  I'M NOT THE GRAND EMPEROR ANYMORE!

Doesn't matter that you're no longer the Grand Emperor, if the dragons attack us no-one will trust dragons (except Hugo) or you anymore...

Alrighty. I'll nab it and tuck it in the folder I'm keeping the things I mod. Thanks for the heads up!

It is still buggy, and the sith/jedi don't have a few force powers working, yet.  And, you're welcome.

By the way, when is it on plan on starting the fort, if you haven't already?

Out of 20 total cyber troopers created,
Killcount (approximate, really not sure.)
Corai: 3, 1 stabbed and 2 shot.
Zanz.: 5 in a flash
Splint: 1 piked
Ironblood: Several
Vemini: Several. One punched through the chest, hard enough to make his fist hurt a lot.
Eric: 1 pickaxed, probably more as well.
You forgot the two I killed by pulling one over the railing, and having it impact on it's comrade's head when I was shouting at Eric and hanging from the catwalk.

"Okay weird, close the door. I don't want anyone to overhear. During that business at the tower, when I was without a physical presence, I managed through secret means to get a few of the books Thari had written back to the fort. Namely, books detailing the secrets of grafting, hybridisation, various herbal and magical healing techniques, and true resurrection. I had wanted to look into them for research purposes, and hide them from you since I feared you would destroy them. But now I believe that you are the only one who I can trust with this information."

Don't trust me?  Well, I would burn them when you mentioned them, so it is valid.

[Clearly everybody was keeping tabs on that tower. Another good damn reason to continue with the fortress plans.]

I keep tabs on it due to the refugees that are there.  I'll upload a new map when I get home.  All I can say is that the dragon civ is on the move, and preparing to attack.  Remember:  I'M NOT THE GRAND EMPEROR ANYMORE!

Just so you know, Splint, a new version of my mod is up.

11079
Hugo, you have control of me.  I would prefer to be off-plane.  More specifically, Alara, because that is where the storyline I am going to do is going to start.

VERSION 0.8!!!!

Jedi
Sith
Other stuff (got to start writing these things down)

They were still augmented cyborgs, and the regular dwarves probably won't be able to tell the difference.

Mate, the regular dwarves listen to us for everything, just because we're the only ones got a clue what's going on, or even literate. If I tell them that they need a massive cast-obsidian citadel to defend the fortress and 40% of the population needs to be working on it at all times, they don't even question it. No mind control, these kids just need someone to give them a clue what's going on. :P

Are we talking tissue strength? Wierd probably knows some easily produced tools to measure the strength of a material versus different physical stresses (shear, tensional, melting points, etc.) Otherwise, I could easily make some galena barbells or something and ask the organism in question to lift the heaviest one they possibly can. If it's magickal strength, Wierd might be able to come up with something, too. Measuring the strength of any elemental magickal attacks should require only mundane equipment like thermometers and stuff.

But getting some sort of ranged sensing instrument ala Star Trek that you just point at something and it tells you what you want to know? I highly doubt it. You'll probably have to convince it to hold still or otherwise cooperate with you to test it.

You got the wrong quote, Eric.  What I mean is mental strength, so I can know when Hugo is able to be detached from my mind.

11082
Which fort scientist would have the ability to create a mechanical apparatus that measures the strength of an individual lifeform?

Basically improvising and borrowing mods to make a nice hell of a military outpost.

So basically, nearly anything that is, or could be an enemy goes into this.

11085
Here is a question for the forumites of the fort.  Due to the recent attack by augmented dwarves, does anyone trust MrHappyFace's augments anymore?  I sincerely doubt that any of the regular dwarves like the idea of augments now, and I doubt you could change their mind by just saying they were under control of Clockwork, a being that they could not be able to contemplate, no matter how hard you try to explain.
